I have just purchased my first home. We werent happy with the smell on the carpet. We were referred to Ecolux by a friend who used them on a reno. Jiyan showep up the next day to measure. The following day, we had the crew come by and finish the work in the same day. We couldnt be happier with our new engineered flooring and the excellent service we got. Shoutout to Jiyan for his professionalism and care.

Jiyan was great to deal with. His quote was one of the lowest we received and the jobs were completed in a very timely manner. The old outdoor fence was replaced (so removal and installation were required). All work was completed quickly and everything was cleaned up after by the team members. Since the cost of the fence was divided between us and the neighbors (and not in a 50-50% split), Jiyan wrote a very detailed contract to outline costs and expectations. Made everything so much easier. For the hood installation, we required drilling into an external wall, as there was no hood installed prior. Everything was also done in a very efficient manner and the house was left clean! Overall, great prices, great response time, great service, really just a GREAT COMPANY! Highly recommend Jiyan and his team.

I had a backyard bunkie that was going into despair, thanks to squirrels, mice and birds. I decided to transform the space into a workout studio. Ecolux Contracting had worked with me on 3 other projects and I wouldnt work with anyone else. Jiyan listens and adds to your vision on a projects and adds helpful advice and ways to conserve, to keep on a budget. They work incredibly hard and complete the project on time. I wholeheartedly recommend them for your projects.

I had hired Ecolux Contracting to do some extensive renovation on my newly purchased home.
Project entailed complete rewiring, relocation of plumbing lines, 2 bathrooms, security & sound, insulation, drywall etc.
Jiyan and his crew were meticulous with every detail and all the finishing touches.
We also had our basement completely redone with a new bathroom & laundry.
They were not only on point with pricing, but also attentive with all our requests and questions.

Our kitchen and main bathroom was due for a full update and Ecolux did an amazing job. There was open, honest and transparent communication from the first meeting and all throughout the renovation - we were kept up to date on the progress and timelines along the way. Jiyan worked within our budget and the final product is beautiful and of great quality. Jiyan helped us make decisions wherever we were unsure about design or finishes, always presenting options. He also made every effort to keep us as clients happy, incorporating our needs and wants and addressing any issues professionally. We were also really impressed with how neat and organized the construction areas were maintained and how well-taped off and dust free the rest of our place was during the renovation. We look forward to future projects with Ecolux as we have other updates planned for our place.

We wanted new floors, ceiling, pot lights in our basement plus the design and installation of closets and shelves throughout. We also wanted our old laundry room re-designed. Jiyan and the Ecolux team were fabulous to work with. From start to finish, they responded to every request, completed all tasks on time and did a professional job. We originally hired Jiyan and his Ecolux team to help remove a load bearing wall, install a 21 ft. beam and patch up the ceiling and drywall. Well the project ended up becoming much larger then we anticipated and Jiyan and his team without hesitation took on the scope of the job. We were so delighted and relieved. The new project included the removal and installation of a new ceiling in the now open concept kitchen/living/dining room, reinforcing the joists in the ceiling, reframing the outer kitchen wall and then installing the vapor barrier and insulation, enlarging the entry way closet and hallway entry. He also arranged for his electrician, plumber, gas fitter,security when some of our contacts cancelled at the last minute. He kept the project moving and on time and in the reno world not an easy feat. Their professionalism, quality of work, punctuality was do impressive and appreciated. Jiyan has a great design eye and some of his design suggestions ended up not only being beautiful but functional. We have no doubt that when the reno is completed it will look stunning. Ecolux exceeded our expectations. If you have a reno in mind dont hesitate to contact them. You wont be disappointed but blessed. Jiyan continue providing your customers with such excellence. It has been more than six months since Jiyan and his team completed the work on our basement. We had another team come in to do the underpinning work, then Ecolux took over to work on a completely unfinished space.

Jiyan, Mehmet and their trades built us a play room, a laundry suite, a new bathroom and a utility room (involving some HVAC work to cluster the furnace with the water heater). We also has custom closets built along most of the length of the space for storage.

The basement looks great and all of the work has held up very nicely. Because of the significant changes to the basement, we also had Jiyan do some work on the main floor to complete the remodel of our home. There was one minor issue we discovered after the work was done and Ecolux was there quickly to make it right. We have since hired him and his crews again for some exterior work.
