I regret the day I contacted Kian Computer. Our transaction was a fiasco that involved the police and I ended up with a flaky laptop due to the incompatible keyboard Kian installed.
I shorted out a few keys of my backlit keyboard on my Lenovo X250 laptop, so in my search for a service provider who could provide a reasonably quick turnaround and cost justifiable price, I phoned Kian Computer. Claiming to know the cost of a genuine Lenovo replacement and the time required to repair, he quoted $160. plus tax (a reasonable expense for a 5-year-old laptop) and confirmed that it would be ready the next day. When I called the next day at 3:30 he said he hadn't started working on it yet but that it also needed a piece of thermal tape on the motherboard (and additional $150) and the price of the keyboard repair would now be $250 because the keyboard costed more than he expected. He said if I didn't like the price he'd return my computer to me in pieces, as he'd already removed the defective keyboard....basically holding my computer ransom.
