Mr Tree Man

When we moved into our home there were several overgrown trees in the back yard that closed it in almost completely. James, the owner, came and expertly assessed the trees and proposed a solution that would open up the yard and yet maintain its privacy. His quote was very competitive but what made the greatest impression on me was how much James seemed to really LIKE trees! His team (Matt and Joel) were great to work with -- friendly, professional and efficient. I really appreciated that they took the time to confirm what I wanted before they started the work, checking in frequently to make sure I was happy with the work as it progressed, and then made sure I was happy with everything before they cleaned up everything perfectly. Our back yard is transformed and I love being out there now. I would not hesitate to recommend James and his team and to hire them again!

I had a tree covering my back yard that closed it in completely. James from Mr. Tree Man came out and proposed are really good solution opening up the yard while retaining the shade. The team came out delivered on that solution. They were extremely friendly, check in with me to ensure I was happy with progress and cleaned up everything after. I am now so happy with the back yard, it was a real transformation. I would gladly recommend Mr Tree Man and would absolutely use them again myself should the need arise again.

James and his crew did a fantastic job to remove a 4 story high tree in front of my house. The tree removed quickly and cleanup was done very well. Highly recommend.

Needed 2 trees removed from backyard. They were quick to arrive/assess and fit us in to their schedule to accommodate renovations. The workers themselves were polite, professional and safe. 100% recommend.

The guys did a fantastic job. They even negotiated with a neighbour to access the part of the tree that could not be reached from our backyard. I've learned some useful tips regarding the maintenance (actually, something I would never thought of). Everything was thoroughly cleaned up at the end. Great job done by real professionals. We had three very, very big spruce trees that needed to go and the job was done in two hours. They also took the time to clean up any leftover debris on the ground afterwards. Irmis is pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend!

I needed tree trimming for the maples on my property so I asked James to quote me on it. It was a fair price and I asked him to do the job. He sent his crew and they did a great job around the property. I talked to Matt, the expert arborist about the health of the trees and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He and his crew are very professional and courteous and left my driveway and sidewalk clean after they were finished. I'm very satisfied with the company and will hire them again if I can

Mr. Tree Man’s team came in and completely cleaned up our overgrown backyard. They were on-time, professional and offered lots of helpful advice on future maintenance..... they even jumped our car when we tried to move it and found out it was dead. We will absolutely use again.

We had a broken branch about 20 feet long, stuck in our 100 year old tree, about 40 feet up. The crew (two folks) arrived, wearing masks and standing back after knocking on the door. The two of them had a look to size up the job, provided a quote on the spot, I agreed to it, and they got started immediately.

The crew had appropriate safety gear. The longest part was tossing the lead line into the right place so they could climb up; but once they got that (after about 10 minutes), i was amazed at how quickly things went. The one guy climbed up, secured himself, then tied another rope to the broken branch. He cut the dead V that was holding the branch stuck, and then lowered it to the other guy on the ground. They had to work the branch around the phone and cable wires in the backyard. Then he cleaned up some other smaller deadwood while he was up there and came back down. Definitely not their first rodeo :)

The two of them then cleaned up the smaller twigs and branches that had fallen during their work, and took it all back to their truck. The 20ft branch was sucked into the wood chipper.

The crew was extremely courteous and professional, and they looked to enjoy their work, and also looked like they really cared about trees.

All in all, i was thoroughly impressed. I would definitely hire them again if we need any tree work.
