Their are no words to describe Tim and his crew and what they did. Tim is a very understand man that is will to help a person in need. His crew did they job in one day and clean up too. I am now ready for the winter thanks Consumer Choice. Thanks

Tim and his crew were very professional. He explained everything in a way we could understand and we appreciated his patience with the number of times we probably asked the same question. The crew worked very hard (in hot weather) and always cleaned up at the end of the day and at the end of the job. Tim checked daily on the status of the job and kept us up to date on the progress. We would definitely recommend Tim and his crew.

We needed to have a chimney reappointed that had not seen renovation in about 40 years and was in a bad state. The work was done timely, communication was easy and questions and concerns were quickly addressed. The marble covering of the fireplace inside needed to be cut back to accommodate a new gas insert. Wood backing needed to be removed. This was done without breaking the stone and with a small amount of dust and dirt. The specifications of the company installing the gas insert were fully met.

Our chimney was 50 years old and the bricks were crumbling. Loose chunks of mortar were falling out and it was a bit hazardous. Tim appraised the job, sent us a quote and Bob showed up a few weeks later to execute on it. They were very good about social distancing during the current Covid-19 pandemic, and the whole thing was done with no contact and finished in two days. The chimney was rebuilt from the roofline with proper flashing, and some issues uncovered during the renovation were properly fixed as well. Bob cleaned up the site before leaving and it all looks much better and safer now.

First of all let me say that these guys were such professionals to deal with. The owner came to our house to do an inspection of the work to be carried out, gave us a comprehensive and concise estimate, which was a fair price for the work involved. The bricklayer took down the two old chimneys (one for the Fireplace and one for the Furnace), rebuilt them from just below the roofline, re flashing them properly into the brickwork as he went. We opted to have an aluminium sleeve installed in the furnace chimney , which the owner attached from the furnace himself, at no extra cost, which was quite tricky as the job required re routeing the furnace and hot water tank exhaust pipes. Also, they rebuilt the chimneys using new brick that was in keeping with the character of our 93 year old house, capped them off nicely and basically finished up the job with attention to detail and no issues or mess.

The repair was done in a timely manner. The worker explained everything he was going to do and he did what was required, if not a little extra. When he was finished, the roof and surrounding area was spotless. The original quote was fully explained to us which included making better modifications to the old chimney. Also, the payment was exactly what was agreed upon. . Everything was done in a very professional manner. There was also a follow up by the company to ensure that we were satisfied. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

My chimney was falling apart, missing lots of mortar, pieces just resting on each other, so it needed to be redone. Tim sent his colleague to remove the old chimney down to underneath the roof deck, and rebuild it with new bricks. They also made a chimney cap, which was missing. And, they redid the flashing between the chimney and roof as proper step flashing--this replaced the gum lip flashing which a different roofing company had done (which relied inadequately on caulking) . The work was completed in about 2 days. The yard was kept tidy. The new chimney looks great, and comes with 10 year warranty. Tim was very easy to communicate with. All old materials were removed and disposed of, but they left me the old bricks as I had requested, so I could use them in the garden.

Tim was very prompt. He came and gave me an estimate and explained to me on paper what exactly had to be done. The repair was completed in a short space of time.

Chimney mortar ground out and repointed. New collar and rain slab installed and flashing replaced. Crew arrived, did their work and cleaned up in two days. Tim, the crew lead, was super responsive and answered all questions. The chimney looks great now.
