We just bought a house that had an old parquet flooring and old carpets in some rooms and stairs. Gary brought us samples to pick the floors. As we just bought the house, we were low on budget, and Gary helped us a lot to find a the right price for the project. The project was to install new laminate on our Living Room, Dining Room, Hallway, and 3 bedrooms. It included the removal of carpets and parquet, installation of transitions, detailed installation work around metal pickets and installation of new carpet for the stair. The total area was more than 700 square feet.

We had hardwood put in the hallway upstairs and our bedroom. They were amazing, the6 did a perfect job and quickly too.

Gary and his team did an incredible job on the installation of laminate floors for our 1 bedroom condo. Gary is knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward, and provided us with a clear breakdown of the costs of the work. He provided invaluable advice when we were debating between hardwood, laminate, and the type of laminate we ultimately decided to install, and helped narrow down our options to choices within our preferred colour range. We were impressed by the speediness of the job as the removal of the carpets and installation of the laminate only took 2 days. You get what you pay for and we are very pleased with the professional quality of the work and the appearance of the laminate.

Gary was a great help with picking the perfect carpet. The installer showed up on time, was very friendly and worked quickly. There was a small mixup on the carpeting but Gary worked quickly to sort it out so I wasn’t inconvenienced. I really appreciated that.

I was going to sell my house and the realtor suggested I install hardwood flooring so I had a few companies quote and even though Direct flooring wasn't the cheapest I decided to go with them as the owner Gary pointed out everything that needed to be done like removing the old carpet to screwing down the floor. I could tell he knew what he was talking about. His crew of 2 had the job done in the time frame allotted and I haven't had any problems, The cuts to both the hardwood and the baseboard were pretty good and his staff very professional. I specifically worked with Gary on the team. If you’re getting floors done in a condo, shop carefully. I received a few quotes that didn’t include necessary sound dampening materials (they’re not always needed, but most condo boards seem to require them). At any rate, Gary knew what was needed, read the condo board code, and got everything setup. The work was done on schedule. Gary is responsive on the phone and text messages, so I never had to wait on an answer. Great service, floors look terrific!
