Great eye to detail and commitment to clients
Archetype Design + Construction was selected for the first phase of our home renovations, which involved digging out and installing a new walk-out from our basement as well as remodelling our basement into a home live/work studio.
As with many old homes in downtown Toronto, our basement ended up gifting us with one surprise after the next from mouldy walls, crumbling masonry, to a frightening web of electrical work patched together over the many years. Through the whole process, Marijan was forthcoming with his team's discoveries and took care to discuss options with us and painstakingly dealt with the scope changes and issues uncovered.
We were consistently impressed with his level of professionalism, commitment to our project, as well as eye for quality and detail. It gave us peace of mind and a lot of confidence in him. Now that the transformation of our basement is complete and we're moving on to the second phase of our renovation plans, we're very happy to be working with him and his team again.
