I just received a service from Kobe. He came for 10 mins, stating that it was my thermostat problem of the fridge but he had the wrong part. So he left and came back after an hour or so, spent another 15 mins replacing the part and it charged me $400 dollars.
Problem: Kobe told me the cost and yes. i agreed initially. But I called Mike, the manager who was our first contact (he quoted us the half of what Kobe told me). He said the cost of the themostat was 130 something plus tax, even if you assume the 10 mins and 15 mins actual installation for 80 dollars plus tax, it would only cost 210 plus tax. Why did this service charge me for $400? How do you justify this?
Moreover, I called Mike before Kobe came back and he said he would communicate with Kobe later. I asked Kobe whether Mike called you or not, he said no. I told him about the cost of the thermostat and he said $400 was the cost that I agreed on! (Yes, indeed) so i paid him and I called the company and the operator said Mike would look into it and would call me back, NEVER CALLED. I sent email to the company, NO RESPONSE! I sent another email two days after, STILL NO RESPONSE.
Bottom line is: their integrity and respect (to me) were COMPLETELY failed.
