I had a very positive experience with this company. I viewed a unit and applied right away. They immediately got back to me and asked for supporting docs. Everything went very smoothly and I happily moved in on the agreed date. So far, it has been good.
Rented my condo in the first week after signing up. They booked showings immediately after I signed up was surprisingly quick. I had my condo rental sitting for a month prior to using royal york PM
Wonderful experience with Royal York.
As a first time leaser the experience can be a little daunting, especially in a city like Toronto. Nathan was helpful, answered questions and would follow up with helpful articles and links about different topics.
I was leasing a condo while living in a different city, and their team would organize weekend condo shopping trips for when I came into town, and was more than willing to go look at things for me and do FaceTime tours. They were always available, and was very responsive to emails and phone calls. He was very organized and helpful.
Very positive experience, I highly recommend the team and Nathan!
Superb team at Royal York Property Management. Every single time I came to the with a problem they took the time to listen to me, and then calmly explain that they were already taking care of it. Talked with my tennants the other day and they're just about as happy as I am with Royal York, and the contractors they hire. Superb and very proactive team. Keep up the great work, guys.
I bought a rental property a year ago, and everything seemed to be going so well. Then, I hade the tennants from hell. Couldn't get them out of the house no matter how hard I tried and they pretty much ran the house into the ground. After that I decided I was not going to deal with it anymore and called up Royal York. They’ve really turned my rental property around and now I have an amazing tennant that I'm actually going to have over for dinner next week. Bravo guys!
As a contracting service hired out to different property management companies, I must say, dealing with Royal York is a true pleasure. Whenever me, or a member of my crew is on site, we’re always greeted amicably, with top notch communication. Thanks for being a great company, RYPM.
Thank you for your review!
Feifei is always a pleasure to deal with. I had a few questions about a recent invoice and she explained it thoroughly. I know how hard it is to work in customer service, so thank you for being such a bright ray of sunshine!
Thank you for your review!
The first and last impressions they left with me were terrible. Cant beleive I suckered myself into giving them exclusive agency to find me a tenant.
Nathan was scheduled to come to see my condo for their potential client list, however, the guy didnt even show up. I called them after an hour and the person told me Nathan didnt know and will come. He eventually came and sold me a fantasy story of how he has a ton of people looking and can get my unit rented out in 2 days. How they currently have dozens of units like mine in this very building for rent, and many for showings lined up for that very weekend...well... I fell for it.
The only offers they sent me to lease the place was 2 weeks later when I told them I no longer wanted to use their services, coincidence much?!?. Their candidates weren't even qualified to afford my rent. Rent was going to be over 60% of their take-home pay on a job they didn't even start yet, and the persons had little to no credit history... what sane landlord would sign up for this? They offered to do property management on the unit at a discount if i went for these candidates after learning i wasn't interested. When I declined again, I was told by Avi that I was too picky to look so closely at their credit, salaries and/or employment history.
Then, when I tried to get my keys back it became a cat and mouse race to get a hold of these people. Dozens of phone calls, emails and texts over an entire week either went unaddressed or brushed off by Avi. Then when it came to to it, they wanted nothing to do with me or my property - his resolution was and I quote "We will try but there is no guarantee if it will happen. If it's convenient, we will send someone but I suggest that you come in and get them yourself or send a courier".... EXCUSE ME? I gave them the keys up north, signed the papers up north, but they insisted I come into toronto to get my keys though they claimed to have "dozen of properties in the area and lots of showings every few days there". These people ended up just tying up my keys and lost me a month's rent due to their exclusivity clauses and inability to retrieve my keys when i asked for them back.
