These guys don't deserve a zero star. Wow, talk about rude and unprofessional! Run away from this builder as fast as you can. The guy has no experience and thinks he knows what he is doing. I heard, their construction worker is complained that the builder is lacking their fees. Again, stay away from unprofessional and inexperienced builder. I heard

I would strongly advise any subcontractors and prospective customers to avoid this company as they do not pay for services or return their calls .
As a customer you would not stand a chance if you give them any money..... They are not to be trusted. Beware..

Ken homes was referred to me by a close friend early 2018. I was in need of getting my basement developed in SW Calgary and after meeting with multiple builders, Ken Homes gained my trust.

Having no knowledge in construction, they did a great job explaining the process to my husband and I. They did an amazing job with working around our busy schedule and were even able to finish a few days ahead of the planned date. We selected custom carpet, tile, and lightening that suited our taste. We got a custom bar with stone and had custom shelves in the living room and bar. We got all that was promised and are very happy with our end result.

Our basement result exceeded our expectations and I would recommend Ken Homes to everyone !

It's a shock I was able to move into my house on the possession day in November 2017. The process of purchasing this home at the framing stage until now, 3 months after possession, has been extremely frustrating experience.

Having to deal with disorganization, ignoring email communication and saying what I want to hear without following through are normal with this builder.

This is not a custom builder: never ordering custom fixtures, tiles and appliances that I spent hours selecting for my "custom experience" left me in the end picking in-stock items at the last minute. A shopping trip to Home Depot was suggested to get light fixtures because my selections were not ordered.

Builder Liens, 10's of thousands in holdbacks, contractors requesting payment at my front door, 3 months of requesting fixes from the walk through 3 months ago.

Never purchase a custom home from this builder - buy a home once FINISHED. Ensure it is inspected, and all of the remaining tasks get finished before possession.
