Kai Cleaning

I hired them to clean and shampoo the carpet (shampooing the carpet was an extra $50 which seemed very reasonable). I paid them after the cleaning but before the carpet was cleaned (the carpet cleaner was separate and was going to arrive later than evening. He never showed up, no warning, no phone/text. I contacted the owner and we rescheduled, but they never showed up for that appointment either, with no warning. I was moving so I no longer had access to the carpet and had to pay a fine for not shampooing the carpet before leaving my lease. I contacted the owner for a refund for the carpet cleaning, she agreed to phone me the next day - she never did. I contacted her several times over the next few weeks via text and got no reply, and by phone but it either gives a message that the caller is unavailable, or a man answers who says she is out. They essentially took my money for the carpet cleaning and ran. Protect yourself and don't give them a penny until after the work is done. It is a shame, because the cleaning they did was very good and fast, but their business practices are appalling.
