We hired Instalall to build a brand new walk-in bathroom, kitchen, stair rail, storage room under stairs and vinyl flooring. The work involved load bearing walls removal, plumbing, electrical, carpentry; dry wall, vanity, sink, faucet, light fixtures, backsplash, countertop installations, sub flooring and painting etc. Their quote was very competitive. The work completely exceeded our expectations. During the entire process Jay (Jamal) the contractor kept us up to date. He is a pleasant, polite, honest, client oriented and very skilled contractor. Honestly he treated our house as if it was his own. I would definitely recommend Instalall and look forward to having them do more work on our house in the future.

Jay built walk-in shower and redo the floor and wall with high quality as well as few touch -up around the house. He was taking care of details in every step and discussing them to me with comprehensive instructions. Jay is also a very nice person and trying to find solutions for any issues with patience. Great job converting two dated bathrooms into one large and spacious primary bathroom. I really appreciated their support and suggestions throughout the process. They helped find solutions to a couple of challenges, really listened to my wishes, were able to accommodate a few changes with minimum impact on cost and time, and overall did a professional quality work. Jay and Sam did a great job on completely redoing our main bathroom, which was taken down to the studs and transformed. We contacted Jay because of some excellent tile work he had done for us in our kitchen several years ago. He has an old-fashioned pride in his work and treats the job like he is doing it for his own home. He communicates very clearly about the issues and steps involved, and seeks input when needed. He was meticulous and knowledgeable, and completely professional in his interactions with us. We threw some curveballs at him (we had to customize certain fixtures) and handled it all without creating any stress, and just made it work. We would definitely use him again for other bathroom and kitchen renovations, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family or friends.

I had Jay come to tear down the bathtub and tile wall and install a free standing shower base, lay a new tile wall, redo all the plumbing, and install frameless shower doors.

Jay is very meticulous in his job and shared his plan for each day ahead of time. He made a few additional fixes in the bathroom beyond the original plan. He would also clean up after him every day.

One important aspect of hiring a contractor during the pandemic is to cause the least disturbance possible to the occupants of the house most of whom work from home. That was the part i was worried about for a project that lasts 2 or more weeks. I can report that apart the first day when he demolished the tile wall, Jay was very careful and attentive to the point that it did not impact the ability to work and to attend video calls.

The result was a very beautiful shower and freshly painted bathroom. I am very happy with Jay and his professionalism and caring.

I had to replace a kitchen on a pretty tight timeline and contacted Jay. He was very accommodating to squeeze my job into his schedule and his price was also very competitive. Based on previous (very positive) reviews of his work, I was optimistic and he absolutely did not disappoint. Jay's work is excellent with a great attention to detail and a patient and thoughtful approach to issues encountered along the way ... and there were a few! I couldn't be happier with the final results of the work and on top of that, Jay has repeatedly insisted that if anything comes up in the coming months that I'm not happy with to reach out and he'll come back to make it right. I'm pretty sure I won't need to take him up on that but it sums up his attitude towards his clients and the pride he takes in his work. I will be recommending Jay to friends and would happily hire him again in the future, as finding his mix of high quality work, reasonable prices and commitment to client satisfaction are not easy to find!
