This review is to express how thankful we were to Alex for stopping by on the Family Day long weekend to fix our clogged dishwasher. We were beyond impressed by the thoroughness and knowledge he came equipped with and a bonus is that pricing was extremely fair. Our issue was addressed quickly and once the dishwasher was fixed Alex even gave us welcomed pointers on what to look for in quality appliances the next time we’re in the market. Overall an excellent experience. We have no hesitation recommending this company and will definitely be using them again as needed.

In my opinion a company shows how good they are not only when things go well. Companies show how good they are by how they handle problems when things go sideways (which eventually happens). Unfortunately they were not able to fix my machine and at the end we had different points of view on how to handle it. The owner contacted me quickly, Respectfully showed his point of view, heard mine and we were able to get to an agreement where, in my view, was a win/win situation with minimum compromise from both sides. They were professional and demonstrated to be trustworthy. A class act.

Due to a poor design, my Samsung refrigerator was leaking water into the unit . After reading the Home Star reviews, we contacted the company. An appointment was made for the same evening, to our delight. The technician, Dimitry, who provided the service was courteous, respectful and took the time to explain the situation thoroughly. We were very happy with the service and with Dimitry. We highly recommend Man with a wrench to anyone who wants to have a pleasant experience in a difficult situation. Thank you, Dimitry.

Alex arrived within 24 hours of me calling him, and immediately got to work analyzing our old washing machine. It had stopped spinning, and there was a burning smell. He thoroughly looked at the parts of the machine, did what needed to be done, and now the machine is working beautifully. Thank you Alex!

Alex was amazing from start to finish. I contacted his company via email on Sunday afternoon, not expecting to get a response until Monday. Instead I received a call from Alex within 10 minutes. He explained that they don't always respond that quickly, but based on the fact that I was trying to get a repair done (because another contractor had done a very poor job and refused to come back to fix the problem) he wanted to schedule a visit ASAP. He came out on Monday to assess the problem. He provided a quote for the parts and labour and came back today (Wednesday) to complete the repair. The previous contractor was a complete disaster. Dealing with Alex has been a pleasure. He explained everything clearly, explained options and alternatives, and was very professional and personable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Ali from Man with a Wrench was on time and explained the process of diagnosis at the start. He was knowledgeable about the washer and brand in question. He analyzed the problem and went about his work in an orderly manner. I am very satisfied with the work and was done in price quote which was agreed upon at the time of booking. Very happy with my experience with this company. Saw great reviews and they’ve lived up to my expectations. I had Ali twice , first to repair my oven and he warned me it’s possible a part may need to be replaced in the future if this fix didn’t last. It turns out that’s what happened and they were able to order my part and install it . Very friendly and personable service, I would definitely use them again and recommend to a friend. He explained everything clearly to me and I felt the price was reasonable. Thank you!

Alex was more than helpful. He took my call on saturday night regarding a broken fridge and arranged everything for monday....he was more thab informative and i realized as per Alex that my fridge had a melting program and ended up working again, however I would like to extend my thanks for Alex taking my call on a weeekend and being an awesome guy :-)

Not my first time working with this company, always on call for when one of my rental properties encounters issues. As I cannot be present during repairs, I truly appreciate the incredible communication from Alex and Ali when there is an issue, and they always take care of it promptly and efficiently.
