Pierce Hills Farms

What a difference from our previous provider, who has declared bankruptcy, leaving 1500 customers without service. Thankfully I switched for this season. So far excellent service for driveway, city snow dump and walkway. No more hassles trying to beg for service and never sure if they would show up. No muss, no fuss, just great service.

Pierce Hill Farms Snow Blowing Service is not as good as in previous year. I live in Barrhaven. In the previous years, they would come at night, you would have a cleaned driveway in the morning, so you can go to work on time. However, in this winter, they no longer do that. They have not come today (Jan 07, 2020). I cannot back car from driveway to go to work. I don't know when they will come. This is not the first time in this winter. Do not know what happened to this company in this winter. It is too bad to see a good company can not keep up providing good service. At 9 am, they said they will come within 30 minutes. But, when I back from work at 5pm, my drive way still pipe up with lots of snow. Same as one of my neighbour who use Pierce Hill Farm.

I had Pierce Hills Farm snow removal for 2 years and everything went very smooth. I was very happy with the service. For these 2 years my contract amount was $200.00. For the 3rd year I had a slight increase in the contract amount to $300.00. ONLY 50% I think that is quite reasonable, RIGHT? But the good news was that the service was decreased, my driveway was not clean when I had to go to work. My neighbours who had the same company got their driveway clean. After phoning in it was done. When contacting Pierce Hills regarding the driveway not being cleared in the morning I got a snappy, ignorant, rude answer from SHELLEY. My request to be contract from Myles was ignored. So be VERY CAREFUL with this snow removal company.

I hired Pierce Hill Farms for snow removal in barrhaven this year and will be a returning customer. The service, speed and professionalism is exceptional. With Pierce Hill I am the neighbour on the street with the first cleared driveway and snow banks cleared within the hour of City plows. THANK YOU Pierce Hill for your amazing work during a this busy winter season.

Was with Metro last year for my first time purchasing snow removal service. Metro was a disaster. I honestly can't fathom how that company can be allowed to exist. Pierce Hills Farms has been loads better. So far they have come very frequently and after the plow each day we've had a storm. My front light was damaged by the blower and glass was blown about the lawn. I can't say I'm happy about that, but at least they are showing up - something that can't be said for Metro.

I hired Pierce Hill farms for snow removal services and so far they have been a great service. They come out in a reasonable amount of time and do a great job clearing. Would definitely recommend them.

Great service! Have used for the past 5 years. Always on time and do a great job of clearing the snow. Even make their way back to clean up again after the street plow comes and leaves chunks at the end of the driveway.

Started off OK. Tractor would come in the middle of the night to remove snow so the driveway was clear or mostly clear in the morning. Responsiveness was decent.

As the season went on, however, their interest in honoring the contract became less and less. Near the end of the season I had to email them to 'remind' them to plow my driveway and by mid-March they weren't even responding to email or phone calls anymore (contract ends mid-April).

Would not recommend.

I live on Houlahan Street and within one year there are two neighbours who employed this personable company because of their service. They answer calls right away and have never let me down. A great company!

My initial thoughts of this company in the first year we hired them for snow removal was great. The 2nd year was horrific. When the snow melted on our front lawn, hundreds of tiny river stones that they picked up from my neighbour's side was dumped on our grass. After many phone calls and many voice mail messages they said they would come by and pick up the stones. Many weeks past and many more calls and v.m. and no return calls and no courtesy to pick up the stones. The snow removal was fine, but the lack of care and professionalism left a bad taste in my mouth.
