We had two rooms painted and the downstairs powder room. Their painting skills are outstanding, very precise and very clean. They finished trim, hung light fixtures, replaced light switches and recepticals, re-hung kitchen cabinets after modifying them, cleaned up baseboard to perfection, altered charished antique French doors, placed the finishing between carpet and cork floor beautifully, the list just goes on. There wasn't anything that they couldn't do, big or small. Something that I appreciated perhaps more than their skill was how quiet and respectful both men were in our home while working. I was so comfortable with them here. They are very busy but were still able to meet our time demand keeping their promise of start date. I had spoken to other "Handyman" services before deciding on Halton Handyman. I made a great decision and when we require services again, it will only be this company we contact. You're in very good hands.

I had Yasser (Halton Handyman) work on a unique hardwood wall mounted bar project last year and I was so impressed that I decided to call him to do an odd Dry wall enclosure for an open living room. My requirements are usually out of the ordinary and from experience in dealing with various guys over the years, I can only trust the Halton Handyman to execute the project the way I want it done. The work is excellent and the price is fair. They added a few nuances (at no extra cost) to the project and it turned out way better that I had perceived. These guys are punctual, reasonably priced, neat, organized and trustworthy. I would've given them 5 stars if it was a rating based on my experience with other contractors, but then hey, there is always room for improvement even in perfection!

We are very pleased with our new storm door. It works perfectly and was installed professionally with a high level of workmanship. The response and service was second to none. We would recommend them for any work you need around your home.

I had some odd jobs that needed done and was not blessed with the “handy” gene.

I contacted Halton Handyman and they made time for me the next day! The job ended up being more difficult then anticipated (isn’t it always) when we found one of the walls I wanted items hung on was concrete. But Yassar took the time and effort to make sure it was still perfect.
He was beyond professional and everything turned out better then expected. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The original side door to our garage had been nailed shut and unused for 30 years or more.
The door frame had rotted and the concrete around the frame had splintered.
I knew that it would not be a quick and easy job but I did not anticipate the level difficulty that was presented.

They just installed a barn door/rail system and had to troubleshoot an issue with stud placement, and came up with a great solution. Very professional, the work was done very well and in good time, reasonable cost. Definitely recommended! Will be calling again for future projects. Thanks guys!

Hired Yasser to do the work, initially he was great. Showed up on time, explained the process and let us know how long project would take. Work was done faster than expected. Later in the month we got potlights installed and noticed a few spots that were still rough and the kitchen ceiling had a huge spot that wasn't painted and none of the edges were were painted.

Reached out to him In June to get the work fixed, didn't hear back. Followed up and he said "he was really busy, and would text me when he was free". A month passed and still didn't hear from him. Reached out again and he said he'd try to get it done after labour day weekend. Weekend has come and gone and still haven't heard from Yasser and have followed up again with him and still waiting.

Happy he's busy, but I've paid for a job and it's not done correctly so beware. Make sure you check all work before final payment as there is zero follow through after work is done.

I hired Yassar again after having a great experience working with him for my doors and trim installation in the past. I must say that as always at was a pleasure working with him. Yassar and his helper showed up in-time and cleaned up the site every day. They thoroughly communicated to us about process of installation. we are very pleased with the outcome. Great work!

The job I thought was going well to remove two sides of my deck as we are getting a hot tub replacement. I came out when I sensed they were almost finished and they had knocked an exterior speaker off the side of my house - I wasn't pleased to say the least. The Halton Handyman's response to my displeasure "it's a mistake man, we'll look at it" and I told him they better do more than look at it. Yeah, well they didn't put it back on properly and he pretty much didn't give a damn. It was a struggle to get a receipt and he had failed to show up the day he was supposed to and never emailed our copy of our contract before hand. Do what you like if you need a handyman, but I will never hire this guy again and I would not recommend him to any of my friends based on our experience.
