We hired Heartland Construction to remove a load bearing wall and install a beam. I've never worked with such a great company for renovations before. Steve always kept us informed as to what was going on and when they would be performing the work. His men always showed up when he said they would. He took pictures along the way to show the inspector what was done. They cleaned up very well too. When the inspector came he wad very impressed with their work and stated "these guys always do a great job". He was impressed that they installed the beam flush with the ceiling and said that most contractors won't do that because it's too much work, most will let the beam drop down from the ceiling a bit. Heartland's price was reasonable and their service and work excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
