The staff at Healthy Home Centre are professional, and very hard working. They were also respectful of our home, taking care of it while working. Gabriel gave the advice and help I needed to remediate a huge mold problem in the basement of a small older home I had just purchased. Water had been getting into the basement for years. Gabriel and his team were quick to assess the problems, come up with a quote and then carry out the remediation immediately. The basement was unrecognizable once they were through with it - so clean and bright - with no moldy smell. It passed the final air quality test with flying colours. Gabriel was also full of good advice about measures to take to ensure the mold did not come back. These guys were great!

We found mould in our unfinished basement and Gabriel and his team did a fantastic job of getting rid of old insulation, cleaning the entire basement thoroughly, and installing the appropriate insulation afterwards. They also repaired cracks in the foundation and helped proactively address areas that could become problematic if left alone.

Throughout the whole process they were super friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to make sure our family felt as comfortable and assured as possible. Would recommend Healthy Home Environmental Solutions in a heartbeat. Thanks !

Pictures speak for themselves! I called Gabriel for urgent work to be completed in a rental property. I had called over 10 companies prior to speaking with Gabriel, most who couldn't accommodate our request and were quoting 3x the normal rate. Gabriel was compassionate to our needs and understood the urgency but most of all was trustworthy and honest in is pricing. Very good with communication and follow up. He made it work with a very short turn around. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

I had some concerns because there is some mold in my attic and I wasn't sure how bad it is and what would be the most efficient way for remediation if needed.
I consulted 4 companies before HHC, and I got various ambigious opinion.
My experience with Gabriel, HHC, was exceptional, his transparency, professionalism and friendly approach are rare nowadays.
Although he had a busy schedule when I called him, he still accommodated my urge seeking his opinion. He was punctual to the appointment, he got the right tool to check the mold in the attic, he took clear pictures that he shared with me later on and he explained he risk of the level of mold and how it could be treated.
The impressive part, Gabriel did not exaggerate his assessment in order to overstate the required work. Instead he confirmed that this should not be of a big concern and he explained the remediation process, which justify the estimated cost including the required materials and the level of effort to treat the mold.
He still encouraged me to consider other quotation that I received because they bundled with other renovation that I am performing which could be more economical.
And he advised me on what should I inquire about to ensure quality of service.
So basically I received honest and reliable professional opinion without feeling any pressure of a sale approach.
Gabriel's honesty made me consider using his service in the future, knowing that I would be getting the best value for my money. In addition Gabriel offered his support in case I would need any related inspection in the future.

Work involved asbestos remediation around registers. Gabriel and team did a fantastic job. Quote was accurate, no surprises. Great communication throughout the process. Once the job was complete, the team did a thorough cleaning and duct cleaning. Awesome work. I highly recommend Healthy Home Center and will use them in the future for any kind of remediation processes.

Healthy Home Service came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They performed mold remediation to one of our rental units that tested very high for mold as per OIES (Ottawa Indoor Environmental Services). Their quick response, attention to detail, safety/sealing off of affected areas and quality of work was stellar. This included cleaning of ducts afterwards and thorough cleaning of all areas following the mold removal. Upon retesting by OIES, post remediation, we found out the job they did was superb. They did a FANTASTIC job - seriously, my house hasn't been this clean in 3 years since getting sick from mold. Definitely would use again (but hopefully I don't have to!)

Healthy Home Centre performed a complete remediation of my basement, including removal of the existing floor, ceilings (following the guidelines for asbestos abatement) and walls, a multi-step cleaning of all surfaces to remove any possible mold and organic debris contaminants, and anti-bacterial treatments of all surfaces to prepare for renovation. All stages of the remediation were done with powerful hepa filters, blocking of the HVAC system to prevent cross-contamination with the rest of the house, and a seal between the basement and main floor of the house. The final step upon completion of the work was a thorough furnace and duct cleaning.
Gabriel explained all the work very carefully in language that was easy to understand, and detailed every step of the work in the contract. He was easy to contact and responded to questions within the same day. The entire team was professional and easy to work with.
I undertook this remediation as I have a son with a severe respiratory illness, and needed to ensure the air quality in the basement and entire house was as pristine as could be. Gabriel and his team understood the gravity of this work and went above and beyond in ensuring my son can live in a healthy space!
