I was referred by the Greener Home Grant program to this company. The gentleman who did the audit was great other than neglecting to mention the cost and method of payment upfront (email money transfer only to an address not obviously related to Barrier Sciences). After a rather pleasant time I was sent a invoice for 440.00 plus HST and told my audit report would be sent in 10-14 days. I then said that's when I'll pay for the job in full. Now the fun begins...text messages and emails demanding I follow a policy I'm just finding out about. In my experience, last payments are made when the job is complete thereby properly maintaining all sides incentives. This was not good enough for them. The technician said he would delete my files (my homes data) apologize, zero my bill and wish me a nice day. With all the audit companies springing up, I'd take my chances with someone else. I've also contacted the gov't program and informed them of this sad, unfortunate and unnecessary situation.
