Urban Studio

I live in an old victorian style home and was looking to make some renovations and upgrades in order to increase the value for potential sale in the future. After reading all the great reviews and seeing signs in my neighborhood I decided to reach out to Urban Studio. Immediately they set up an appointment to view my property that day. I am constantly traveling to BC for work and do not have the time to babysit a project this size. I was very happy with the periodic updates but more specifically the attention to detail. My master bedroom was upgraded with a new en-suite washroom with heated floors; I got a custom kitchen with all new appliances and countertops suggested by them. I added a small washroom to the main floor and all new hardwood flooring throughout the house. The craftsmanship is nothing less of quality and they were a pleasure to work with. I will be contacting them again for another renovations.

I was very pleased with the work done by Urban Studio. I live in an old townhouse and did not like the layout of my space. The team at Urban Studio came in and presented several options to upgrade and maximize my living space. Within a week we got the ball rolling and construction began. They completely renovated and designed a new kitchen by removing a separating wall creating a much bigger space. Installed a much needed bathtub and transformed my bathroom into my personal oasis. A couple of years ago my wife and I bought a house and knew we needed to add more space in the future. The time came and we decided to add to our home. Our project consisted of a 2nd floor addition of our home in east Toronto. We used Urban Studio as our contractors. We already had our permits, so the beginning stages moved along quickly. The entire job took close to 5 months. A long time, but we didn't need to be out the entire time. Overall we were very pleased with all the crew. We are more pleased with our new space. Over 800 sqft. We love it!

We are very happy with our new addition to our home. We hired Urban Studio and we were very pleased with them straight from the beginning. Since we already had our permits ready, it sped up the process. From start to finish the whole project took about 3 months. We not have an extra 400 square feet that is beautifully done. I live in leslieville and want to stay in the neighbourhood. My wife and I are having another child and need more space. Instead of selling, paying real estate fees and land transfer etc. and buy a more expensive house, we decided to put an extension and addition on instead.

We had many quotes, some cheaper and some completely out of our league. We hired Urban Studio because they were reasonably priced, offered to do all of the work, from getting the permits to completely finishing the space. Extra bedroom and bigger living space with new kitchen. The project took about 4 months, there were some problems we ran into along the way, but all issues were resolved. We are super happy with the work and professionalism of the crew at Urban studio and tell all our friends and family about our great experience.

I would like to recommend and thank the crew at Urban Studio for the work that they did at our home. My family recently added to our ½ story home as space was tight and we didn’t want to move out of the area. Selling was not an option as buying something in our price range wasn’t realistic in our neighbourhood. Before hiring Urban studio I did quite of bit of research and met with many contractors. We moved forward with Urban studio, not because they were the cheapest, but we liked what they offered and they made it important for us to believe in their work. We spoke with previous clients and saw their current projects before moving forward.
Needless to say there were some bumps along the way, but we were always satisfied with the outcome. We needed to be out of our home for nearly a month to two months, which was actually the toughest part. Completely worth it though.
