Queensville Sod Farms

We had to have our septic system completely replaced and as a result the entire back yard was destroyed. This was a very large area more than 18000 sq. feet. Not only did it require sod but it also had to be graded and topsoil in many areas.

I called to get a quote from them and they came out the next day to look and access the property. They sent me a quote the next day and we decided to go with them.

They showed up exactly as promised, and had a team of literally a dozen people to do the work. They started early in the morning and were mostly finished by the end of the day. They came back early the next morning to finish and left the property in pristine condition.

You could not have asked for a better or cleaner job. As well, the people I dealt with were very professional and friendly.

As a total bonus, their price was significantly lower than the price from three other companies.

We had a new sod installed last year on the whole property - quite sizable job. Queensville assured us that if there are any problems with installation, it will be promptly repaired under the warranty. Few months ago we noticed some problem areas and advised Queensville, and after some delays they came in and dressed and reseeded problem areas.

We had a large amount of sod supplied and installed recently by Queensville Sod and cannot be more pleased. The sod itself is beautiful and the installation was so efficient. The crew went above and beyond with their service and everyone was so professional and conscientious. We have more work to do in the front of the house and will definitely be having them back. I couldn't understand why I couldn't find a ton of reviews about this company after being in business for so long. The reason I have decided is likely because they do a lot of really big jobs so regular yard jobs are a small part of their business.

Our yard although not a soccer field in size was a jungle and their team of a dozen strong worked from early morning till most of the day removing stumps, brush piles and even a stone path. They worked really hard, were prompt, professional and experienced.

By the time they left at the end of the day they had literally transformed our grown over yard from a jungle to the 18th hole in a day. It was impressive. They also follow up to ensure the sod is watered and appropriately cared for following installation.

After installation the subject of sod came up a lot more in conversation and we learned their prices were very reasonable. The only tip I would have for those installing sod is to anticipate visitors and plan accordingly.

We learned quickly that Ricky our local Racoon liked to lift the sod for grubs almost daily. Until you have sod it's not the kind of thing you google but this is a BIG issue. We bought bird netting from the local garden supply store and staked it down over the sod and that worked quite well just for the first bit until the grass rooted.

We are very happy with our lawn makeover and highly recommend Queensville Sod Farms.
