We had two pergolas installed by this company in November 2020. While the installation itself went smoothly, our experience since then has been disappointing. Within four years, parts of two transparent UV-filter roof panels have broken and fallen off. We contacted the company in late 2024, but their responsiveness has been very poor. After multiple follow-ups, they quoted us C$800–1,000 for repairs—without inspecting the damage first. It's still unclear whether this quote covers just the broken sections or a full roof replacement. What’s especially frustrating is that we weren’t given any roofing material options at the time of installation. We later discovered that stronger, thicker polycarbonate sheets are widely available and commonly used. Had we been informed, we would have gladly paid more for better durability. Several friends' similar pergolas are going strong(10+ years) with sturdier sheets used. We expected more transparency and better service from a professional installer.

Within a few days of inquiring I had the sales representative Mathew out to my home to quote. He was personable and kept within my budget which was very important to me. I was then assigned a project manager who came to visit a few weeks later to go over details and start dates. Anton was also very kind and helpful and guided me through choosing materials etc. He always made sure my concerns were addressed and kept me well informed on my start date which was weather permitting since my job was completed mid Nov. the crew who was sent the leads name was Vasyl he and his lead hand George were outstanding their skills showed in their work and I was very impressed ( they worked through awful Conditions pouring rain and cold temperatures ) I was shocked they continued to stay and complete the job very determined is an understatement! I also added 2 steps and a second crew was sent ( Andrew ) he was so talented and the steps he installed were level and perfect so happy with his work. Just talented and very careful to take care in his work. Overall Im so pleased with the quality of professionalism / skill and end result and would definitely use Action Home services for future jobs.
