Kitchen Planning & Renovation review in Mississauga

Initially, our relationship with Home Reno Direct was chilly due to controllable delays on our project attributable to tradesmen allocation.

Once brought to their attention, Home Reno Direct took immediate and complete ownership of the issues, and have since employed best-practices to rectify and mitigate the scheduling delays.

Home Reno Direct’s owner personally reached out to express his apology and to define next-steps moving forward to keep within schedule.

As an aside, It should be noted that the tradespersons employed by Home Reno Direct have accomplished best-in-class workmanship. Punctual, professional and leave the job-site clean.

Our project is nearing completion, but to date we would entirely endorse Home Reno Direct for any renovation projects you may be considering. Responsible, professional and sensitive to any issues you bring up, it is our experience that you may “Renovate with Confidence”.

I was hoping to compose a review that would encourage you to "Renovate with Confidence". Now halfway into the project, I'm compelled to caution you about signing on with Home Reno Direct.
Regardless of what is promised when you sit down with the eager salespeople, do not expect your project to be completed anywhere close to ontime. You should consider the renovation schedule presented to you in general terms only, as it won't be worth the paper it's written on, because Home Reno habitually pulls tradesmen off your jobsite to appease other unhappy homeowners in the system e.g. who haven't seen a tradesperson in two days, and are very upset. Basically, there's only so many tradespeople available for the amount of business Home Reno has signed on. This practice will seriously affect the length of time your home is undergoing work. So be prepared for the eventual delay in your project completion from the onset.

I will return when the project is completed to provide a factual update on the process and if any improvements were made by Home Reno Direct.

The delay to the project can be proven to be directly within the control of Home Reno, notwithstanding Paragraph 2 of their Contract Terms.
