New Home purchaser - Waterdown location
If you are a first time home buyer (like us) start somewhere else!. I am not sure how they have done with other site but Waterdown is EXTREMELY disorganized and there is a lot of wrong information. They seemed very reasonable and we were very excited to work with them until...1. We purchased in Nov 2005 with a close for Mar 2007. 2. Sales office is all of a sudden closed - no communication. 3. Notice that there would be a slight delay - amendment - to get ready - Jan 2008!. 4. No bonus until later at which time they offered $3000 in upgrades and 10% off. 5. was quoted initial pricing on some items ie 9 ft ceilings $3/sq ft (mainfloor only) 6. again completely unorganized - booked colour/upgrade selection appointment - during my working hours scheduled off a full day (full day of pay) they canceled the night before on my voicemail - upgrade book incomplete. 7. Had a seminar on wiring house - happened to check out upgrade book re: carpeting and noticed sudden jump in pricing - especially 9 ft now $5 = no real reason given just standard "labour yadda yadda" 8. Expressed extreme disappointment and feeling like we are getting "hosed" GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FROM THIS BUILDER your best interest is not their number one priority - the initial pricing seems good but they get you elsewhere!!!! BUYER BEWARE
