Lakeshore Tree Services did a very clean, efficient job pruning and removing overgrown landscaping close to our house. They arrived exactly on time with heavy-duty equipment that was more than up to the task: the work was done very quickly. Clean-up was excellent. Thank you, James, and your hard-working crew.

We needed to have two stumps removed and two trees planted. After trying for about a month to get it done, I put a request on Home Stars. James responded, visited the site right away and gave me a quotation that I believed to be reasonable. We scheduled to do the project a week later but James called me after couple days and told me he was available immediately because of a cancellation.
He and his crew arrived at the time specified and they finished the project within 2 hours. One of the stumps was from an Ash tree so it was very challenging. They cleaned up after they were done and gave us advice on caring for the newly planted trees. They were pleasant and hard-working. I will definitely call them for any projects in the future.

Called to get quote on annual pruning of large treed lot, removal of dying ash, clearing around hydro wires. James was prompt, gave detailed written competitive quote, scheduled work. Arrived within 10 days - on time, with experienced crew. During pruning of very large maple discovered that the entire trunk was hollow, so talked it through with James and decided to take down the tree - very sad but on consideration no other choice. Crew was here for almost 2 full days (it is a very large lot). I had asked for the wood chips to be dumped in the driveway so that I could spread them later. Because he had a full crew on day 2 James had them spread the chips for me at no additional cost. I would highly recommend James and his crew - they are hard working, polite, engaged in their work, respectful, professional and tidy. I only wish all contractors were like this!

I had a small landscaping company out trying to remove a large dead ash tree. After about 2 hours hacking at the tree I could see these guys didn't really know what they were doing and things were getting dangerous. I was panicking, flat out. They botched the job bad. I called Tom because I saw his truck earlier in the day nearby. He picked up and he was at my house within 15 mins. He reassured me the tree wasn't going to fall over yet and he could return first thing next day to finish the job.

I let the small landscaping company go and today Tom removed the tree. He did it in less than an hr. Made it look safe and easy! This was a 30-40' ash tree around 2' wide.
