Highbury Stone

Really happy with this project. Dave was great to work with and adapted to our changing needs. Ryan and the crew work really hard and have awesome attention to detail. Left the site clean everyday and did a little extra whenever they could. Thinking of another project next year and will 100% call these guys first. Would recommend.

I had my 18 yr old front porch and steps replaced with a modern stone and it looks beautiful. Dave and Ryan were professional and skilled and cleaned up at the end of each day and were back at it first thing the next morning. Our neighbor has already booked them to get theirs done as well. That describes the attention to detail and amazing work Dave and his crew were every step of the way from the beginning ideas to attention to detail right to the end and even after the work is complete. Dave offers great ideas to add to the project, checks with you before each step of the project and is in constant contact throughout the project, keeping you involved and onboard. Dave and his team are excellent to work with. They are flexible and willing to do custom modifications to stone to make everything suit your design concept. We wanted a more modern look with no "chiseled rock face" exposed surfaces, and Dave was more than willing to have the Oakville Stone and Banas pieces cut to our specification to remove their existing chiseled rock faces and give us the look we were after. The install team were excellent, very focused on selecting adjacent stones for color and texture and the result is truly amazing. Great project. Would use them again without hesitation.

Dave and his crew pulled up a small flagstone patio put in by the previous owners and replaced it with pavers late last year. Some retaining stones were also added. We are very happy with the results and Dave was great to work with. We will be using him on all future projects.

It was a small job, so we knew it would take awhile to find someone willing to take it on, but Dave got back to us right away, came and had a look, and booked us in. There were a lot of rainy days when the job began, but Dave and his crew worked until it began to rain, and were back at it as soon as it stopped, all the while maintaining a neat job site.
Dave and his crew were pleasant, polite and hardworking. In the end, we were very pleased with finished product.

Interlock required levelling around the pool. Needed to be done quickly and Dave was able to accommodate that request. Ryan was meticulous in levelling the interlock; quality workmanship. We have already recommended Highbury Stone to a neighbour.

Highbury Stone did an excellent job on short notice. Everyone involved was friendly, explained everything, worked hard and demonstrated expertise.

Dave and his crew did a ton of work for us at our house including covering our front and back porch with flagstone, regrading the property and laying 2000 sq ft of pavers, coping around the pool, building a custom stone retaining wall with coping, concrete pad for our shed, two armour stone retaining walls, installing stone steps and gardening/planting. Dave was really great to deal with throughout. He worked with us and our budget. The team did an amazing job. We are very pleased with the final product and would highly recommend him. I found Dave to be extremely knowledgeable. He knows how to do things properly with years of experience unlike others who aren’t properly trained and just start their own landscaping business with limited knowledge. He did things and told us stuff I wish I had known about in the past when I had folks come to do work at our previous properties. He is focused on delivering a high quality, sustainable final product that will last for years and is practical for your needs and home.
