Rick Gill, the manager of Rainbow International Restoration, responded promptly to our water leakage problem in our basement. While major leakages are inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, Rick's services as the project manager were invaluable, and we are extremely pleased with the final result. Specifically, we would give Rick and his team top marks. The quality of work done was consistently top notch. The 2 employees (Wally and Jordan) were knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in their respective roles. They were conscientious about following job specifications, and their work was simply outstanding. They were professional, reliable, courteous, and respectful of our property and privacy. They had excellent work habits, strong safety orientation, and emphasized getting the job done right rather than doing it fast. Their pride in their work was evident. They tidied up at the end of the job. We also found them to be trustworthy, and we felt comfortable with allowing them access inside our home. Rick's experience dealing with these issues really paid off. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of the job, and was able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities of his crew effectively. He remained closely involved in overseeing the project from start to finish. His excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled him to juggle the extensive details involved in our project without missing a beat. Throughout the project, we were impressed with Rick's commitment to performing a quality job, rather than maximizing his profit margin. Rick kept us closely informed of work crew schedules and projected completion dates of different phases of the job. His communication (whether by cell phone or email) was always clear, informative, and helpful. He was either available on his cell phone, or returned our phone call within minutes. We never had a single miscommunication throughout the 2-day job. His communication with his crew was just as effective. When unforeseen problems surfaced (e.g., water damage behind a wall), Rick worked diligently with us to identify a solution that was acceptable to us. He utilized resources effectively and creatively, and directed the work crew to make changes necessary for implementing the solution. Rick's commitment to homeowner satisfaction was evident in his actions. On the few occasions when we brought a request or concern to his attention, he listened attentively, and always took appropriate action. In closing, we are very pleased with the job that Rick was instrumental in delivering, and we are extremely impressed with his work as a manager. In a world where shoddy workmanship and poor service are unfortunately all too common, Rick is indeed a rare find. We have been homeowners for over 35 years, and we took this unprecedented step of writing an unsolicited letter of recommendation for Rick because we believe that exceptional work should be recognized.
