For our most resent installation, we had installed 2 fixed picture windows, 3 casement windows, a custom height rear entrance door and lastly a flat window conversion to bay window installation in the master bedroom.
I ended up getting 6 different quotes from various window manufactures and dealers. Although the flat window replacements were standard, the shortened door frame height and the bay window conversion caused installation concerns and effected the costs. The varied range of pricing came in at $1000.00 less to $4000.00 more than the Perspective quote.
The quotes I received from the other dealers were from their sales persons. With Perspective, the first point of contact is Arbnor Krasniqi the proprietor. Arbnor, before giving me his quote returned a second time with his installer Pierre to verify our request for the bay window conversion and the custom sized door. Pierre also took the time to explain to me how the new bay window would be properly supported, insulated and finished on the exterior. Exact exterior measurements of all the brick openings were taken to maximize the glass size of each window.
The reason we chose Perspective is the attention to detail and the justification of pricing. Before signing the order we also verified with a few of his past and resent customers of their satisfaction with the work Perspective did for them. All comments regarding sales support and quality of installation were very good.
Our triple glazed, double low E, argon filled, with active clean windows arrived earlier than expected from North Star. Arbnor called to arrange the installation date. We had dry weather and the installation went as planned. On day 1 with Pierre and another man, all the flat windows were removed, installed and trimmed on the inside. Day 2 with a third man, the removal of the master window commenced. Brick had to be cut out to accommodate the framing support for the heavy protruding glass structure. the bay window was secured on the exterior and trimmed on the inside. the door was installed and trimmed on the inside. On day 3 Pierre and Luc returned to complete the framing, insulating and exterior capping of the bay window.
We are very pleased with quality of the North Star product and the installation work done by Perspective Windows and doors. We recommend them highly.
