Changing a rubber washer in the hot water tank

The hot water tank in our home got a small leak just after 1 year of their installation. So I have called them, and they said warranty is over and I have to pay, so agreed for $65, first 30 minutes, and $50 for each 30 minutes after. The technician completed the job in 1.5 hours and left. (Just changing a washer) After few days they have sent me an invoice asking to pay $485/- which include their 3 hour travel charge! From St. Albert to Edmonton South 3 hours of travel!
They have fighted with me almost a month, frightened to take the issue to court, finally came down to the actual charge of $165/-
Be very careful with them, very rude people
