I contacted several companies to paint a large four bedroom townhouse in its entirety to prepare it for rental. Tom was able to come over the soonest for an estimate in the evening. He was thorough doing his estimate, offering recommendations and options, even for improvements other than painting. Promptly the same evening I received a written estimate, which was quite competitive. Tom followed up while I was considering other estimates, and offered to negotiate on the price. Considering that, his reviews, and the fact that he was able to start within a few days, I decided to hire Tom, and I have absolutely no regrets. He and his experienced painters Marien and Julio were over bright and early the first day and every day, and worked hard and efficiently to paint the entire house from top to bottom, including a basement room, in just over five days. They even went above and beyond, with extra priming, sanding, and drywall and baseboard repairs that it turned out were required, and even painted behind the fridge and stove. True professionals from start to finish, I am more than happy, the place looks great! Thanks Tom, Marien and Julio for your top notch work, it was a pleasure!

I selected Tom Macrae Painting, after searching the Internet, to paint several rooms in my house, which has high ceilings and a study with cathedral ceiling. I don't regret my selection.
Tom and co-worker Marien not only painted the place, but also prepared the walls for painting by patching & caulking many imperfections encountered. They arrived early and on time, until the work was completed, which was as previously estimated. The place was cleaned every day and at the completion of the paint job.

Tom and Marien did a fantastic job in transforming our main living space. Our vintage swirly ceiling from the 1950s was made perfectly smooth over a three day period. Major cracks were repaired in the living, dining and kitchen areas prior to the application of the base coatings and paint. The walls and baseboards look amazing. Thanks so much, Robert and Maria
