Our house was built in 2010. The furnace was installed by the builder's contractor, and proved to be very unreliable. Since installation the furnace had shutdown several times over the last 5 years. The first two service contractors in the end were unable to diagnose the problems. Fortunately, we discovered Grand River Heating and Cooling. They worked closely with the manufacturer, penetrating warranty issues, and in the end were able to arrange for a whole new furnace under warranty! We paid for installation, which went through without a flaw. Here are their strengths from our perspective: extremely responsive, very competent, they stick with you, service people are friendly, the office manager is fantastic, and they do what they say they are going to do.
