Ignacio and his team began work in March 2020 to fully gut and renovate the Master Bathroom in a 12-year-old townhouse. The project required relocating the toilet and moving the shower to the other side of the bathroom where the tub was previously. Other complexities included: incorporating a pocket door with a warming towel rack on the same wall, moving a cold air return to recess a custom cabinet, and in the shower odd dimensions for the ledge, bench, linear drain, plus large tile with placement instructions. His team also did some work to create more storage in our basement under the stairs and install another space saving pocket door.
The renovations were completed 5 months ago and we continue to be very happy with all the work. Ignacio and team were trusted and reliable. They showed up on time and worked hard, they kept the space tidy and communicated well. Quality of work was above expectations, with kudos for Klever who is meticulous. Ignacio was always helpful to find solutions and to offer value add ideas. He answered our many questions and kept us informed of upcoming steps. I liked that Ignacio would reuse materials whenever possible, to me this is both an environmentally and cost wise approach. However, there are some things that you may want to replace, so it’s important to communicate upfront to avoid misalignment. I did learn a few things, one was to have Q&A verbally as email can be difficult and the meaning can be lost, the other was to be more prepared with choices/preferences for finishes and design plans. I was scrambling a few times and had to give rough sketches.
