Hired this person to do a job and kept saying excuses , playing games wanting money and barely working

Talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. Lazy, unreliable, when he shows up the work is good but always has an excuse for not getting the work done. Don't trust his estimates on time or price for your project. Do not hire.

I hired this guy thinking he would be honest. As the previous poster said he talks a good talk however was late on the first meeting. Then took several days to quote. Then when I transferred funds to him and cancelled the job BEFORE he even started he refused to refund my money. Shady, underhanded, and I would never ever book anything with him again. $280 for a job not started and he refused to bring me the materials that he supposedly purchased but couldn't return for cash back.

Nice enough guy, easy to talk to. Had some good ideas for landscaping. Did hourly rate big mistake. Don't think he does big projects often. Doesn't show up for work half the time, usually late when he does. Project was double estimate. Threatened to cancel project several times he didn't care. The guy just doesn't show up and always has some baked excuse for not working. You wouldn't believe the excuses we heard. If he Just showed up and worked a flat fee it would have been fine. Hope he gets his life together.
