Murphy's Masonry

Murphy's Masonry did an exceptional job! They kept the site very clean and the precision in their work was great! They are very friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any questions. We are very pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend.

We needed mortar repairs on a hundred-year-old house in Toronto. Murphy’s came in with the lowest quote by a considerable margin but we never felt the work to be sub-par in any way. They were efficient, prompt and pleasant. Some work was postponed due to the fact that there was an active birds nest in one area ; Murphy’s has assured us they will return to finish this once the birds have fledged, which we thought demonstrated a caring attitude. This attitude was also evident in their attention to the needs of our elderly neighbor by clearly communicating when the shared walkway would be obstructed, and by ensuring that our (even more elderly) dog was always secured in the gated back yard as they came and went. Costs were kept low by us arranging electrical cable coverage ourselves, which came to roughly another $1000, but is a relatively simple process handled through Toronto Hydro.

Brick replacement on deck pillars. How refreshing to finally hire someone who knew what they were doing. Eddy and Manuel were amazing. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Really liked working with Murphy’s Masonry. Really sweet owner [Irish guy named Rory (spelling?)]. He came and met with me at my home, did the quote right there. I got three other quotes, his was not the cheapest but was a middle and fair price + any one I got under range seemed kind of sketchy. He did the work when he said he would and was able to fit me in early on my deadline. Would recommend and will be using him again next year to do parking and point tucking on my rear wall. We have stonework in front of our home that was there when we purchased the home this summer. We noticed due to settling, the morter was cracked allowing water to penetrate and eventually causing more damage. Our garage floor and also cracking and the chimney was no longer being used and we needed it capped. We contacted Murphy’s Masonary for a quote and decided to contract them. They showed up on schedule and did everything as in the contract and more. We are pleased with service, work and communication. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent quality work - the team that did our repairs were super nice, efficient, and thorough. Would highly recommend if you have small household brick repairs / tuck point work like I did.

Ruairi, Shawn and Chris arrived and tore down the chimney, completed the next day along with concrete slab at side of house, job site was completely cleaned up, very hard workers, would highly recommend to anyone else. Very happy with the job, would have them work for me anytime. Thanks Ruairi
