We purchased a home 3 years ago that had a crack in the foundation wall in the laundry/utility room. Previous owner had siliconed over it, which I knew was wrong, but it was always dray so we left. Fast forward a few years and its the Friday before a long weekend. Went downstairs and found water on the floor. Called for estimate which was provided over the phone with no visit required. Promised repair next day which was Saturday. Came on time and completed. Other estimates $900 and required visits. Other companies with the their experience should know how much a straight forward crack should cost without a visit or at least an approximate cost. $900 way too much for a 2 hour job. Even the 525 I paid was a little high but they accommodated me very well.
