Ez Plumbing

Ez plumbing did an amazing job with the plumbing work done at my house thanks to Aaron and Dave for coming on time and working fast to get the matter done thanks again will highly recommend to all my friends and peers.

Had a bathroom I needed repiped, which was a semi-urgent project for me. Ez Plumbing Inc plumbing repiped the whole bathroom for me that same day. Very fast work! I had used them before for a major bathroom and kitchen remodel, and again they were very fast, and have not had a problem with those pipes since. A bonus is they would call me to let me know they would be late, a courtesy that a lot of companies don't consider these days.

So this happened about a year ago, I had a mainline back up, called EZ plumbing, ended up getting "ABC" plumbing and the guy did such a hack job while swearing away in his language. So we find the access point for the main line, he ended up cutting 4ft out of my wall behind the toilet, cut the pipe as the plug was against a stud, put on two rubber joiners with clamps, put everything back together aside from the wall, yes including the toilet which needed to be removed AFTER THE FACT to repair the wall. I haven't been in the basement since, well, to my surprise as I'm about to set up the adjoining room, I see the floor is water damaged. So because of how long ago this was, all the showers, toilet flushes, sinks running for the past year, all that water had leaked behind the wall in to the adjoining room destroying my floor, all because HE DIDNT MAKE SURE THE BOTTOM CLAMP WAS ACTUALLY ON THE JOINER. It was a 20 minute fix for me, but now I have to replace $400 worth of flooring after trusting that the ridiculous $1200 price tag I paid meant it was fixed properly. I will rent the tools and fix it myself before ever calling this company again.

So, you call EZ Plumber thinking they sound reputable, but you get some other plumber. Why do plumbing companies do this? Yes, they fixed the problem, but $625 for 1 hr! Are we paying for the plumber and a referral fee as well? If the City can send a crew and clean the line for $340 then $625 seems excessive. If you call one plumbing company and get another you should be told they use subcontractors.

Terrible service. Guy who showed up claimed to be the owner of the company. Showed up with his little brother 10-12 years old. Leaves a major mess. Terrible terrible terrible!

Am semi retired Primary EyeCare Optometric Physician. Been in business Edmonton for over 45 years. Nov.10,'15, had urgent need to replace 2 taps in rental house. Said, responded to call within minutes. Upon arrival, it took Said seconds to realize, my solution, as a self help plumber was creating more problems. Not 1st time making that mistake. Within 2 hrs Said had not only solved my plumbing problem but also took time to clean up after himself. A rarity for the trades now-a-days

Refused to clean up mess "we're not a cleaning company...there was urine on the floor too that's not our problem". He told us that we didn't have paper towel laid down but there was a roll in there for use. See if services provided last. Not impressed with customer service or price for service. They said they'd be here before 1am and came exactly at or just after. Might've been upset due to hours worked but then don't offer 24/7 service.

I had a blocked main sewer line. I called EZ to come. He came quickly, I'll give him that. But he did a poor job. Three days later, the line was blocked again. When I called, he said that the line must have collapsed. I then called another company. The line was not blocked; he just did a poor job.

I am a big fan of EZ Plumbing and heating, they are a life saver. My Furnace stopped working in the middle of the night, I have 2 kids, and the weather was severely cold, I looked for 24 Hours Plumbing and Heating Company in Edmonton and I stumbled over EZ Plumbing Inc in the internet. They gave free estimate over the phone, they came very fast and their price was the cheapest, I was so happy. When my faucet started dripping, I called them again, and I was happy the second time also. So I defiantly recommend them if you have plumbing or heating problems.
