Thank you HTR Basements Dmitry and Alex, our gorgeous completed basement and overall experience exceeded our expectations, we are so happy. A once thought massive daunting project became a dream because of HTR's professional project management.
We had not completed our basement for years SO apprehensive of the process, knew we didn't have the time to manage all of it on our own and didn't know who we could trust. Our basement was boxes and cobwebs, unusable, knew we wanted it finished but we didn't want to be project mgr, all was so overwhelming at the mere thought of it.
Dmitry provided a comprehensive quote and Alex took over full and complete project management, providing a calendar of who will do what by when.
All tradespeople were so respectful and efficient working long hours to keep scheduled timelines.
Workmanship was of highest quality, all tradespeople executed on everything promised.
Alex was always available to answer any questions along the way, all was promptly addressed, communication is key. All choices/samples were provided to us, a one stop shop high end finishings.

Alex and Dmitry did an amazing job on finishing our basement. Right from the quote all the way to applying the last coat of paint. They were timely, reliable and most importantly within our budget.

We really enjoyed their attention to detail and any items that came up (which happens in every project) were addressed immediately and to our satisfaction.

There is only one way to convey our experience with HTR in this review, and that is by saying THANK YOU! From the first introduction to the project conclusion, HTR delivered on punctuality, professionalism, cleanliness and expectation. We were given a calendar and HTR stuck to it with no delays, surprises or disappointment. Every trade that Alex sends to your home is a ‘master’ in their craft and you can see that in their work. From the first introduction to Alex as the project manager and overseer, we knew we were in good hands with his support and quick responses to our questions. A big shout out to Dmitry, who helped us design and plan the space and for putting the personal touch on hand made walnut shelving! We truly had a 10 / 10 experience with our basement renovation and want to thank Alex and Dmitry and the entire team at HTR for bringing our dream basement to life.

Over Winter 2019/2020 we were considering renovating our basement to have more usable space and better access to our laundry room. We contacted many vendors to get quotes and discuss the project. After extensive review we felt most comfortable proceeding with HTR, even in light of COVID-19, when only residential could resume later in the Spring/Summer. Dmitry was very easy to contact and deal with from the get go. Alex handled the project well and all the trades people were professional and extremely quick... impressively quick, actually! Sometimes the speed that they work at could cause a small item to be missed, but Alex was able to coordinate fixing anything quickly afterwards. Having a detailed walkthrough of the program with Alex before the project and after spending lots of time discussing with Dmitry could relieve these small missteps, but this could also have been due to COVID-19 and comfort levels at the restart spending much time together. All-in-all we are very happy with our basement and we would highly recommend HTR to be considered for renovation needs! Thank you again for bringing our basement to life and providing us such a nice space to use for the foreseeable future!

We are satisfied by the entire experience - from quoting to completion. Dmitry (Design/Quoting) and Alex (Project Manager) were easy to work with and responsive to our questions. All the trades did great work and were respectful of us and our home. The project stayed within budget, with all extras/additional work mutually agreed upon, and the work was completed in the scheduled time. Our basement was finished by HTR three years ago. It was completed on time, within budget and to the agreed specs. Alex's hardworking and professional crew did a good job. The reason for my posting at this time is to commend Alex for his follow up service. The issues that cropped up after completion, including clearing a blocked shower this month, were taken care of without any fuss.

I had my townhouse basement renovated in June/July 2020, Dmitry was very quick to answer any and all questions I had. The quote I received was quite accurate and he provided me with several 3D designs until I decided on one that I was happy with.

The work was completed within the timeframe that was laid out for me and all of the workers were polite, efficient and importantly for me, left the house clean whenever they left.

I was very pleased with the materials, quality of work and quick timeframe they were able to finish in. My new basement looks fantastic, especially the stone wall and fireplace combo. Dmitry and Alex were very easy to work with and I'd happily recommend HTR Basements.

Alex and his team did an awesome job finishing my basement. We had an unfinished (750 sqft) basement from a subdivision house built in the 1980's. The process was smooth without any hiccups.
