After less than 2 years the duck less installation , it is dripping. I was told by the company that's my fault since they have to clean it up at 200$ for their cleaning services and I was unaware of it. According to the company, I should spend that same amount of money to have it clean up every year to avoid condensation and dripping. To me it sounds unreal. That means every year I'd have to repay the system to keep it from dripping!!? The unit should work properly without having to spend 200$ and more every year. I'd like to edit this review in all fairness to the company that just went back and resolve the dripping issues with no charges since it is a pump issue and not a maintenance one. I used to be a loyal customer of this company. I bought my new furnace in 2013 and ERV system in 2017 through this company. The furnace they installed in 2013 caused some damage to the exterior wall of my house in winter 2014 due to the very short exhaust pipe they installed. When they installed the ERV system, they drilled two unnecessarily large holes through the wall of my house and then covered them with lots of caulking. While I was unhappy about those incidents, they were relatively less significant, I did not complain anything.

Since last winter, I found the air circulation of the furnace was very weak. This was not a big issue in winter because the hot air in first floor went up naturally, so I didn't contact the company. However, in May this issue became significant because our second floor became very hot in evening. We called the company and told them the issue. Specifically, we emphasized the issue existed in both summer and winter. But the person who answered the phone insisted that it was likely caused by our A/C and they had to send somebody to check. Their technical staff came and checked. They found no problem with A/C. Instead, they said it was caused by the filter. They said I should use 4" filter and change it every month. However, when they did the regular maintenance last November, their report did not say any problem with my filter, nor did they mention changing filter every month. I have followed their original suggestion to change filter every three months, which is also the suggestion of filter vendor.

They then sent me a $162 bill for A/C service. When I said I cannot pay the bill because I did not ask you to do A/C service and our A/C does not have a problem based on your report, their manager replied by saying "Its AC season, so everything says AC service." He went further to say that they would not honor their warranty contract.

Following the response from Stan to my above post, I contacted the owner as he suggested. He did not provide any new solution except repeating the same things the manager had said. I am very disappointed.

They finished the installation in the time they quoted. The team was fast, friendly and respectful. They cleaned up the area after the finished. I was very pleased with the work they did. Thank you for giving us warmth for the winter.

Two thumbs up. It was a complicated install in a tight space but they made it work. Two months later, they contacted me to say I should have been offered a rebate and that a gift card worth several hundred dollars was on the way. Needless to say, I was very impressed by their honesty and that they took the time to follow up after the fact and do the paperwork.

Your delays were inconvenient and your installer still hasn't collected his jacket.

My friend is packed it in in late October. I needed a new one and I needed it quickly. Stan's came to the rescue. They installed a new unit 3 days later. The price was competitive and the service was second to none. These guys know HVAC. I have already recommended them to friends who have also been impressed by their polished, professional approach to doing business.

I had to get all 3 of my equipment pieces replaced at once. The home I have is older and isn’t easily configured for new equipment. This wasn’t ideal as it became problematic on how to instal and properly ventilate. Options included having to move my gas meter or try to work around it. Now with the gas company also involved, Stan’s team put a lot of time and effort in working with the gas company to figure out a solution. It was looking to become expensive, for me, with this old home. Long story short, after much analyzing, site visits and brainstorming within the Stan’s team, they were able to figure out a cost-effective solution that ended up being painless and seamless for me (not for them, I’m sure - they were amazing at working hard for me). In the end I saved money and a big headache, and they were in and out in one day! No shortage of their efforts to ensure the job was done right. Thanks to Lyle and his awesome team.
