We moved into our farm house a year ago and we were ready to do a metal roof. We found Select Metal roofing online. Colum contacted us within 1 days to set up a time to come to the house to see the job, he was professional, knowledgeable and had our best interest in mind throughout the decisions. He brought options for colour and styles, gave us places we could see to check out what type of roof we liked by seeing it first hand. He was able to give us a quote very quickly after our meeting. We were satisfied but still wanted another quote from another company. Colum’s pricing was right in range with everyone else. However, what stood out was his passion to do a great job and make sure we were happy with the end product. When we went to book in our roof, Colum noticed when we was dropping off samples that we had many shingles come off during a storm and our roof was now in need of quicker attention than previously. He had an opening and fit us in as quick as he could (2 weeks from when he quoted), within 2 weeks we had a beautiful new roof. The team who came to install kept an incredibly clean work space, they were conscientious of our young kids playing outside and took great care in their work. Our house looks incredible it has given it a fresh new look, the roof is well installed, and to top it off it’s a Canadian product. Heard about this business from a friend who was having them put on a replacement house roof in our town. Contracted with them in Oct. '18 for a spring install. They contacted us in late April,earlier than we expected and the roof was complete by May 3rd. The new metal shingles went over 28 year old asphalt. Moss, due to shade, was a problem on north side. They removed all of the moss before putting down an underlayment. They also had to do a small amount of decking and fascia repair.
All of the work was very well done. The crew were quiet, courteous. They thoroughly cleaned up the site at the end of each day. They also installed eave trough covers on two upper slopes.
Very pleased with the job and would recommend the company.
