New garage door in a new garage build

Brand new garage build. Picked their premium door.
The door itself looks great and seems well built. The installation however was not completed properly. The top section does not come to a completely closed position.
Additionally, I opted for the more expensive side mount garage opener (liftmaster). When the door is fully opened, the door remains approximately 6” below the the opening of the framing. When I asked why this was they suggested that that jack (side) openers are restricted in this way, and are not able to fully open. Had this been described, it would not have been the option that I would have picked.
They have said that they will adjust the door, but I am still waiting.

Approximate cost of services:
$2,300.00

Company Response

We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with the installation. We would like the opportunity to come out to make this right for you. Ryan, our salesperson, who originally processed your order will come out personally to see the issue and address any concerns that you may have. I have left you a voicemail to try to arrange something. Please call the office at your earliest convenience and we will schedule something as soon as possible. Thank you for the feedback - we do not want any of our customers to be unsatisfied.

Robert,
I understand your frustration with the door not operating properly, I do apologize that we have not come out there to resolve that issue yet. It is my understanding that we will be fixing this issue A.S.A.P
However, I would like to remind you of the conversation that we had regarding the 8500 Liftmaster opener. At our initial meeting you had described that you had planned on building a mezzanine in the near future, which is why you choose that machine. At that time I did explain that the 8500 was designed for High lift or Vertical lift operations but can work in Standard lift applications (which is what you have) BUT that because it was not designed for such that there are some adjustments that are needed to ensure the longevity of your door and opener and that the door would be left approx. 6" into the opening when it is fully opened. I am sorry if there was any confusion, with that said, rest assured that your door and opener are set to the ideal settings for this particular application.
Ryan Borges.
