MPS helped us build the garden of our dreams. We are over the moon with the final result and the pictures say it all. The MPS team is professional, caring, collaborative and have turned every design request that we made into a reality.

The process from design to construction was pure joy for us. We knew that the crew is experienced starting with the initial sales and design consultation. We had never encountered a company that would offer 2D/3D rendering of the garden design prior to the start of construction for us until we met MPS. We were really impressed with the initial presentation of the design in a 3D rendered movie format. It was an important step that enabled us to imagine the many design possibilities. We thoroughly enjoyed the thereafter iterative design back and forth for a front yard and backyard design that was truly customized for us.

For the checkered pattern patio that we requested for our backyard, MPS was able to source the stone pavers to satisfy what we desired. We were so glad that we went with this timeless and classic pattern. It brings us so much joy every time we look out the window seeing it.

As for the front yard design, it is truly a head turning one. Since the construction finished, we have received so many compliments from our neighbours. We have seen a good few passerby paused in front our house to examine the design. The use of armour stones and river stones added texture and gave it an organic look. We really like how the new steps widen the entrance and make it look much more welcoming.

For the porch overlay and driveway interlock, we are very impressed with the pattern laid at a 45 deg angle. It was such a wonderful design suggestion that added a bit of subtle sophistication.

Attached to this post are photos of my front yard and backyard completed by MPS. I also addd a night photo of my front yard to illustrate how it looks after I added a few solar lights to accentuate the boxwood in the retaining wall planter. The purple flower is the Roxanne Cranesbill recommended by MPS. It's a stunning plant that continues to bloom in fall and has a bright violet colour. I cannot wait to see all of the plants in full bloom the coming spring and summer.

We found MPS through a quick search after months of looking on Homestars. Everyone else didn't compare in terms of their quick communication, transparency, and friendly demeanor. Although other contractors gave us smaller cost estimates, I would 100% return to MPS due to the above reasons, and more. In terms of the work they did, it took them 4-5 days, like they originally estimated. The front is exactly as outlined in the plan they made with us, and we will be returning to them for future needs.

We got MPS back to do some hardscaping and landscaping work for a third time. A Hot Tub pad, stone steps and paving at the back and a small patio in the front under a Fir tree. (pictured) I have been using them since 2015. Always a pleasure to deal with a professional and responsive team that deliver on their promises. They were also flexible in responding to my requests for small changes and add ons to the original scope of work and the results are awesome. I really appreciated the opportunity to discuss various options and to learn more about what was being done and why. They are definitely my landscaping partner of choice.

We are very pleased with the outcome of the landscaping job done by MPS to our backyard. We’ve received several compliments from friends and neighbours, and enjoy not only the view looking out to the yard but also walking in it.

Chris and Shane were very professional. They remained focused on the job to be done, showing up early each morning, weather permitting, and leaving late in the evening. They were very approachable and pleasant to talk to, answering all our questions and offering advice and recommendations. What a wonderful company to deal with. From the receiving the qoute to the clean up after the job was done, everything went smoothly as planned. MPS replaced the retaining wall between our property and the neighbours'. The work was on time, on budget, and excellent quality. The team was friendly, updated us regularly on progress, and were very focused on the quality of their work. They replaced sprinkler heads that were damaged and applied sod to a wide area on both lawns as well as thoroughly cleaning up the construction site. I highly recommend them.

We recently had our backyard done with MPS and we could not have been happier with the end result. It was exactly what we had discussed, if not better! We chose MPS partly because of the great HomeStar reviews in prior years and had noticed a lack of more recent ones, so I thought that it was worth saying how happy we were with their service. We had a very large project that included the concrete around our pool being removed, a new patio of stone and brick added, with a pathway that tied it all together beautifully, with planting of shrubs flowers and a little tree to make it pretty. Also a side walkway and driveway stone. They came in with their designer and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Thanks to Toban for making sure everything was done properly. Now we plan to enjoy!!
