HARDWOOD FLOORS INSTALLED/KITCHEN INSTALLED

We used Umbrella Renovation for our recent installation of Hardwood Floors at our home and cottage. Lawrence was very professional and guided us through the process of deciding on flooring, colour and style. He was very knowledgeable on this matter. His workers were very professional, organized and cleaned up all debris and installation materials. We were so happy with the work we had Lawrence renovate our kitchen choosing new granite counters and backsplash. I highly recommend Umbrella Renovations and will defintely use them again for my next renovation project.

I got Umbrella Renovations number from a neighbor who had their roof done and was extremely pleased by the workmanship and clean up. I have hired Lawrence again to do a bathroom in the fall.
Looking forward to it.

Porch redue

Would not recommend Umbrella Contracting. Work was not done in a timely manner. Products to complete the work were not ordered and available on time. The work was not completed as per the contract. When issues were brought to Lawrence's attention he never fixed them, only brushed them off saying " that must have been difficult". I thought I hired a professional contracting company which Umbrella is not. Definitely would not recommend.

Basement renovation

Umbrella Renovations was recommended by a friend, and it's been the best reliable contracting service my husband and I have experienced in T.O. Lawrence Cass was quick to respond to our request for an estimate re renovating our basement. Work began promptly and was carried out timely and efficiently. Each crew of subcontractors was a joy to have in our home. Never did we feel uncertain about the scope of work, or the quality of workmanship. It was especially important to have the work start in the morning, and end not too late each day. Communication with both Lawrence and his work crew was never a problem: there were no misunderstandings or last-minute surprises. The only difference with the original quote had to do with our decision to add a sump pump to the waterproofing portion of the work. Having done our research on the best way to waterproof our basement, the sump pump was added after exterior weeping tiles were installed. The outside work was extensive (removal of the back deck and reinstalling it afterwards) in February, in sub-zero weather. Lawrence was very good at making sure everything was done to our expectations, before the final payment was settled. The scope of work, completed within two weeks except for the windows (on order), included exterior waterproofing, pargeting, installing ceiling tiles and fibre flooring, as well as plumbing work and a new laundry tub. Our basement feels so different now, it's a pleasure to do laundry. Even our cat must notice the difference (his litter box is located down there)!
