Frank came highly recommended for our home inspection. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Our report was very prompt and thorough. We had questions about our current home and offered to examine the issue to put our minds at ease.

We were extremely happy Frank, he performed a very thorough inspection on our home and kept updating me through the process. He arrived a bit early and started looking over the exterior of the house before I arrived, and finished within the 2.5hr he quoted on the phone. The report was very detailed. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Frank was very precise and enthusiastic in explaining findings and other small things he noticed throughout his inspection. He took his time to go through the home and ensure every square foot of the home was covered. Anything he noticed he mentioned during the inspection right away, and offered advise as to how to rectify and address the concerns. Frank also took the time to explain preventative maintenance on certain things and explained the benefits and long term gain. His knowledge and skills are very evident. Frank is on-time, detail oriented, very friendly, experienced and also equipped with proper tools. his inspection took about 2-3 hours and checked all critical items and covered almost everything. he prepared his report within 3 hours and his comments were professional and really helpful. Frank is very detail oriented Home Inspector with all the tools and knowledge. He showed up on time, was well prepared and explained any and all issues. I'm not typically one to write reviews, but in this instance I felt it was important to share my experience in having Frank inspect our dream home. In a nutshell, Frank exceeded my expectations (and I have high expectations)... he arrived early and started inspecting the exterior of the house, was extremely thorough and detail oriented, used the latest technology, took the time to point out items that needed immediate attention and items that could pose a problem in the future, provided preventative maintenance advice and inspected the home as if it were his own.

Frank was very professional and took the time to go the extra mile by crawling into tight spaces, explain his observations in non-trade lingo, and prepared a very thorough report within hours after completing the inspection. He was very accessible after providing our report to answer our questions and to provide advice.

Frank was helpful, accommodating and thorough. Frank spent close to three hours navigating his way through our future home, while taking his time, to observe all items noted. He then patiently explained his findings using pictures and detailed descriptions. Furthermore, Frank, as a courtesy, suggested companies who could remedy some of the issues; which was very helpful. He went above and beyond his expected duties. We would highly recommend him.

Had a thorough home inspection with Frank and he walked us through everything. we're new to the home inspection world, he was friendly, answered all our questions and explained everything big and small. We appreciated Frank taking the time to do this and feel confident in the inspection report.

This was the first home inspection I have paid for. I have witnessed others for other people. For the purposes of this review I will review the experience from start to finish and provide an overall summary at the end.

Prior to inspection
I booked the home inspection through GPIweb.ca. Booking the inspection was easy and quick and can be done completely online. within mins I received a confirmation via email with re-Inspection Agreement, Invoice, Standards of Practices, Home Maintenance Guide, and iCal Link. If you are detail oriented, the information included in this package is informative. I also received a secondary email from Frank confirming the appointment and email introduction which was a very nice personal touch. A day before the inspection I also received a reminder email.

Inspection day

Frank got to the site earlier than the appointed time to review the exterior of the house. I was instantly greeted with a smile and a friendly introduction which is not necessary but a great personal touch.

Frank took his time to review every aspect of the house as per the agreement (and going above and beyond). He took the time to explain issues found, why they are issues, potential recommendations for next steps.

I also asked for personal opinions on some of the issues that were brought up and Frank was more than forthcoming with information. This particular property needs to have the basement dug out in order to finish the basement. I asked Frank approx how much this would cost. He admitted that he does not know for sure but would be willing to speak to his contacts in order to get me an approximate amount. I very much appreciate someone who can be truthful in admitting what they know and what they don't as well as going that extra mile to get the information for me.

This home had multiple bookings for the same time slot. Frank was also kind enough to not speak about the findings of the inspection while others were in the house (without my asking). This was very much appreciated by me since these other potentially interested parties didn't bring their own inspectors .

After the inspection

Frank provided the housing report in an electronic format via email within hours of the inspection. Digital photos were provided in the housing report which made things very easy to review at a later time and remind us of the extent of the issues. Frank also made himself available for any questions after the inspection was completed.

Overall I would absolutely not only use Frank's home inspection services again in the future I would also recommend him to others within the GTA. His professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and diligence made him a pleasure to work with.
