Roy is amazing! So helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hard to find honest people these days and he was just great! Highly recommend him.

They replaced the old & worn out shut off valve around a year back. It was easy to set up an appointment & they were very professional!

Phoned Roy on Friday (recommendation from a family member) and couldnt fit us in until Monday (today). Said if we wanted to phone around to see if someone could come sooner (it was our kitchen sink) just phone back just to let him know that he wasnt needed.
We decided that wed just wait until he was available Monday. Gave us the price ranges based on what equipment was needed.

Roy was very professional when he came in this morning. Introduced himself and gave us his card.

Asked what the issue was (to confirm nothing had changed from when we phoned to book him in).

Started with the 20ft piece of equipment.
No dice.
Said he needed to go grab the bigger one. So we knew the price just jumped a bit.
He ended up needing to go down over 30ft to remove the clog.
Said our pipes were actually in good shape. Not a lot of grease or grunge and removed the clog. Said we were good to go for a long while.

If we ever need a plumber again, we will be calling Roy back.

I had an issue with a leak under bathroom sink, I called Roy and he was able to quickly come to my place to repair the problem. He fixed the problem in less than an hour. Quickly resolved and with no mess!! It was a pleasure dealing with him, very pleasant, polite and honest. I will definitely recommend him to anyone requiring a decent, quick working and honest plumber.

We were expecting family for Christmas just before Christmas and our shower taps stopped working. We called Roy at Protex on a referral and he assured us he would fit us into his busy PreChristmas schedule. Within 2 days he was here and fixed the broken tap and checked the other bathroom taps as well. Awesome! Highly recommend this company and Roy.

Roy solved a problem we had that vexed two other plumbers - a weird vibration noise coming from our pipes when one particular faucet, or the washing machine, was used.

Turns out, the problem was a completely different fixture, and in a short time Roy diagnosed the issue, obtained the part, and we were done and done!

I will only call Protex Plumbing in the future. You should too!

We called Roy for an emergency water repair in our basement. Answered the call right away, and was luckily available to help. Within an hour, he helped cut out the damaged drywall, detect the leak, and replace the plumbing - all while taking the time to explain what happened and share his knowledge as well. I had a clogged kitchen sink. Roy was able to send a team out the next day. Max and Carter came and snaked the drain. It was done within the first hour. They were conscientious about keeping the area clean and tidy. They cleaned up afterwards. Both were very polite. I am very happy with the service.

I had a kitchen sink clog that I attempted to clear myself but was unsuccessful. Max from Protex ran his snake thru the pipe for 25-30 feet and was able to clear it. Max was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! I'd definitely use their services again - I highly recommend them! Richard.

Above and beyond service from Roy! We had water on our floor and could not find the source of the leak because it was intermittent. I called Protex Plumbing to book an appt. Roy immediately walked me through some troubleshooting tests to try and isolate the problem. Because it was intermittent, we could not find the source. He was phone call away all w/e and we eventually caught the leak in action on video. Called Roy right away…on a Sunday. He was able to determine the problem. Came out first thing Monday and fixed everything! Thank you Roy! You are super plumber man!
