I hired GTA Basement Experts to completely redo our basement and main floor. They installed new ceilings, floors, and made our two fireplaces beautiful. I cannot emphasize how well done the work was. Both Alex and Sergei are easy to contact, and questions are answered immediately. I was most impressed with how clean they tried to keep the site, even while working. It made living through the renovation as smooth as possible. On top of that, their level of care in not damaging anything was fantastic (they removed one of our fireplace hearths without damaging the hard wood floor bordering it, for instance). We have more projects coming up, and we absolutely plan to use them in the future, and we're already recommending them to our friends and family. I would highly encourage you to use them!

We have been extremely impressed with their level of work. They are very thorough, careful and detailed. They are not afraid to redo the work or to start from scratch if things are not done to their liking. The communication is never the issue as Alex and Sergei are very prompt with the replies and responses. Sergei would constantly come by to make sure things are done well. We have done our basement and living room and are very eager to have our upstairs done next summer with them.

The team has been working for approx one week so far on my basement finishing project. I must say I'm VERY impressed with the quantity and quality of work accomplished so far, and the team's level of professionalism. Alex and Sergei have been very helpful and approachable, sharing their opinions and ideas to overcome challenges and to make the experience very smooth and enjoyable. The tradesmen are efficient, professional, clean, and a pleasure to work with and talk to. And did I mention everyone has always been on time and on schedule, even surpassing my expectations. Great work so far guys! Can't wait to start enjoying my finished basement!

Alex patiently listened to our plans and spent time helping us with the design. The suppliers that GTA recommended were also very professional. Then the work began on Day 1, the team was there promptly at 8AM! The team worked skillfully on the walls, electricals, bathroom, floors, painting, everything was done according to our plan. GTA finished our basement project ahead of schedule. We are very happy that after years of planning and saving for the project, we finally have a basement we could live in. Our basement’s very nice! You won’t regret hiring GTA. We are sure we’ll work with them again on our next home improvement project.

My basement is a rental unit and had been totally gutted for waterproofing and new drains. GTA rebuilt it from the ground up. I spent very little time discussing the project with Alexey and left it in his hands. The first time I inspected the job was on completion, which was on the date specified in the contract. there were no surprises and everything was done in accordance with the contract.

Now, if I can only find a tenant as reliable as GTA Basement Experts.

Alexey and Sergei did a great job from start to finish. After we had discussed our required basement renovation that my wife and I had been considering for years (but had our concerns and hesitated to proceed) they graciously and politely reviewed the options available with us, setting our expectations about the necessary requirements in terms of materials and labour to meet and exceed our expectations in terms of budget, timelines, and final design, thereby alleviating any concerns we had had.

The basement which used to be at best a warehouse used only for basic utilities (e.g., laundry, furnace, and occasional workout in the small gym located there for lack of a better place) is now well above our expectations and is a pleasure to look at and be in for recreation, relaxation and rivals in our opinion a brand new expensive apartment that would cost well over what we have spent. This was money well spent.

This team is excellent, highly professional, and friendly. They kept us well informed throughout the project of any updates and promptly responded to any questions, requests and necessary minor project modification that arose as the project progressed, in order to meet our needs as closely as humanly possible.

We would definitely recommend them to anyone considering any renovation project, especially basement finishing. If you're looking to have a project done, and are not sure, then look no further! They are the B-E-S-T and will do their best to meet and exceed your expectations to the best of their ability and make it as cost effective as possible!
