Luca replaced a flimsy storm door with a proper exterior door, making sure it fit in the slanted/wonky door frame. After the install, it was significantly warmer in the house since there were no drafts coming through the door anymore. Luca was very careful with his work. Highly recommend!

Luca was professional, courteous and reliable from start to finish. From the beginning he was responsive with ideas, options, and expectations. In general, he was very communicative and many times he was waiting on me to return calls and make decisions versus the other way around (which is typically the case when dealing with builders, trades, etc). This is so rare in Toronto! It's also nice to deal with someone who does the work himself.

That said, we did have a slight miscommunication about the door hardware selection in terms of fit and compatibility. A lesson is to just be sure if you choose to go the route of picking your own hardware ( that is, suppliers Luca doesn't work directly with) make sure you understand the technical specs and take the time to do your homework. . At the same time, I think Luca could have been more helpful in suggesting a range of options on the market that would fit the door opening he made. He should have up-to-date knowledge of the the functional aspects of the hardware.

Above all, the workmanship was top-notch and Luca promptly returned on two occasions following completion of the door to complete some finishing trim pieces. And then again one more time to address a slight air leak that the colder weather revealed. He is understanding and takes no offense to feedback or issues with the work.

Overall, we are happy with our new door and window. The light filtering of the glass brings in more light while adding privacy.

I contracted Luca through recommendation from my neighbour, he was willing to do the small job of replacing the original 1950s wooden door and window on my attached garage. Despite nothing being plumb or square on this house anymore, Luca did a rapid demo and quality install of the new door and window.
