I hired Arborwood to remove a large Willow tree in my backyard. The tree had grown around a 4000 volt hydro line and other utilities. It had obvious signs of sickness and could potentially cause damage or injury with fallen branches. The team showed up on time and completed the work in a safe and organized manor. They meticulously removed branches to ensure no damage to smaller trees in the immediate area. I would highly recommend hiring Arborwood.

We knew when we bought our house in 2012 in Mountainside in Burlington that the maple in our back yard was going to be a problem. This tree was HUGE and seemed to touch the sky. We had an additional tree that needed a heavy pruning after years of neglect. Even approaching the idea of removing it was intimidating in itself. After 4 years and MANY fallen branches we called Arborwood. We had dealt with them in the past and liked their work. Their estimate came in at $1000.00 less than their competitors. We went with them and 2 weeks ago they leveled that maple. (SO NICE TO HAVE IT GONE!) It was gone in a day and Derek and his crew of 2 other guys didn't leave so much as a twig or a leaf behind. We came home from work and it was like the tree was never there!!!!! Would I hire them again? ABSOLUTELY!!!! We are glad though, that we don't have any more trees that size!!!!!

The crew from Arborwood did an excellent job in completing the work that had been detailed in the quote. Crew members made it easy to discuss each aspect of the project and offered informed suggestions as how to best accomplish the results I was seeking. Clean up at day's end was superb. Arborwood did a far more professional job than other tree service companies I've used previously, and at a competitive rate. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Four young men showed up at the time and date agreed upon. With all the work we have had done over the 23 years we have lived here, date and time has rarely, if ever, been adhered too. They professionally and meticulously went through the contract and asked if there was anything to be deleted or added. Then we walked through the whole yard to confirm the trees to be removed and the trees that would be pruned. They discussed with me how much pruning I would like on each tree. Their advice was sound and knowledgeable...and echoed the advice given to me by Travis, the site supervisor, when he assessed the job that would have to be done. My apprehension was considerably lessened concerning the removal and pruning that had to be done. I sat in the kitchen and watched as these young men climbed these very large trees and expertly maneuvered themselves into the most auspicious position to remove limbs without laying damage to the ground or gardens below. I was impressed with their agility and the mental acuity they exercised in order to cause as little harm as possible. I truly didn't think it was possible to complete this huge job in one day without leaving our backyard looking like it had been mercilessly butchered and leaving me with endless days of clean up.
OMG! The yard was left meticulously clean... ALL DEBRIS WAS REMOVED, with the exception of some woodchips which neatly filled the holes where the stumps had been. I couldn't believe what good luck I had had in choosing Arborwood Tree Services. Their prices were comparable to other companies but the time and effort they intially afforded me in explaining what needed to be done, how it would be done and the cleanup that would follow...I jumped on board and...needless to say... I don't have a single regret. This is truly a remarkable outfit and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any one searching for a company that will do an outstanding job.

Travis Spoelstra met with me to do estimate on a pre-arranged day to discuss job. Estimate emailed to me promptly. Mark and John came to do the work on the day and time as planned. They did a great job on pruning trees and shrubs and cleaned up the site before leaving. They were pleasant and answered my questions. This company covers their workers with WSIB. I would not hesitate to recommend Arborwood.
