We have called the company as it was recommended by our friend. The first guy that came-in to the inspection/assessment , Mike, appeared to be knowledge and polite. He explained everything that need to be done with our broken unit and give approximate replacement cost (~$4,600 + tax); however, highlighted that the price could be slightly higher ($200-$300) due to materials availability. So, we have verbally agreed to proceed with the replacement and asked Mike to order parts. He said that it may take 2-3 weeks. We said ok. In a week we received an invoice for $6,100+tax due (immediately) in order to secure the job. So, I have called the number on the invoice and inquired about the BIG change in price and my conversation with Anthony (I guess Mike's boss) less pleasant... I was told that it was a quoted job, he through some technical names I was not familiar with saying that it's needed to complete the project.... In the essence TAKE IT OR LEVE IT. So, I talk to my wife and we decided to withdraw. So we got another bill for $180 (truck fee and assessment) + $200 for re-stocking the item. Wow.
All in all it was not a pleasant experience. We were threatened with collection agency etc. NOT RECOMMENDED at all. And I waited a year to post this so they don't harass me.

We have spoken to our personnel and checked our database and cannot find any record of this transaction. Whether it was a repair or replacement, it is company policy to provide transparent written contracts that must be approved by the client in writing before commencing any work. Never in our company history have we collected payment in full before a job is completed and the client is fully satisfied.
