Meant to leave a review last fall...but only remembered now when we're about to call once more (to see if they'll come back again). Couldn't have been more happy. Was courteous, hardworking, billed the quoted amount, nice crew, and cleaned up very tidily. Thank you very much (belatedly).

Kevin and his crew arrived early this afternoon and about an hour later the 20-to-25-foot tree was gone, the backyard was clean and tidy and the shredding over and done. The estimate included a comment that no city permits were needed to remove this tree -- I already knew it was an invasive species -- left me comfortable that, if a permit had been needed, he would have told me so. Fast, efficient, safe and reliable. I am happy to recommend this company to anyone needing a tree and hedge service.

I have a large tree in my backyard that was impeding on my roof and the hydro service lines of both myself and my neighbour.

I never met Kevin in person, but he was very knowledgeable and polite over email and left a very thorough description of what needed to be done and a reasonable quote with us. Our yard was clean, and the work was as promised.

Kevin and crew removed a dead ash for me last week.
I'd never heard of this company before I found them on Stars but they were prompt in visiting to assess what needed to be done and the estimate I was given convinced me that I was dealing with a company of professionals. That certainly proved to be the case.

They were very efficient and did a splendid clean-up job afterwards. The price charged was also very fair.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Kevin had some work for me and a few neighbors in the past few years. Always professional and a great job. I have a big red maple that I was concerned about splitting and hitting something. I asked Kevin if he was in the neighborhood, would he give me his professional opinion. He said he would be in our area in a week and a week later I got an email stating he had taken a look and said there really wasn't anything to worry about because the tree was still somewhat young. He gave me a price on cutting one of the angled limbs off and a price to support the trunk using a large bolt and securing the upper branches. And he qualified all this with "there is no rush" and "no need for concern". This is how a business builds a great reputation. Which Kevin and his team already has!

Quotes were provided for different options (and were well explained). The workers came on the arranged day and time....it was a super hot day but they were still friendly, thorough and cleaned/raked things up better than I would have. Invoice was exactly as quoted (and I think was a very generous price considering three people were there working). I couldn't be happier and I appreciate the excellent and conscientious work.

I contacted 4 tree companies and Kevin was the lowest price. They always say be careful of the lowest price, but the reviews for Kevin were outstanding. I asked for a quote on Monday, Sept 19th and the quote was there at the end of the day. I had asked how quickly and he asked if Oct 1 would work. I asked if it could be done this week, for various reasons, and Kevin fit me in today (Sept 22). FANTASTIC! Kevin and Andre were super pleasant to deal with and very professional. And there were pretty adamant about the cleanup, which is refreshing. Andre was picking up twigs that I couldn't even see. They blew the sidewalks clean and racked up the rest. Overall a super job. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kevin Crowe and his team.

I had Kevin's business card from a year back when he was doing another job in the neighbourhood and I asked him to grind a few stumps for us. That went well, and for a fair price, so I decided to call him to remove 6 sumachs that had gotten very spindly, and clear a lot of dead branches from a very tall pine, a spruce and an elm. The work was done very well; the trees look like they had a really good haircut! His team is very professional; you can tell they love trees and their work. They were on time, did what we needed done and even a bit more, cleaned up properly, answered my questions, taught me how to properly trim a shrub…it was all a very positive experience, and for a reasonable price. I will definitely call them for any other work that comes up in the future. Thanks Kevin, Dave, and Andre.

After reading reviews online I decide to give both or tree services a call. It took about two weeks for them to send me an estimate. Right after the pruning, I was conflicted with how the pruning went. After contacting the company, they explained what they did and why. After two weeks have passed the tree looks fantastic. They were professional, and polite, and responded to my follow up questions right away. I would absolutely recommend them.

We live in the Arlington Woods area (Greenbank and Hunt Club) and our yard has many extremely tall white pine trees. Our cat climbed up one of the trees in order to escape a nasty dog. He stopped at the first branch, which is much higher than a two-storey house and didn't know how to come down.
After Ollie spent the night in the tree, his family and friends were desperate. Luckily, Kevin was working in the neighbourhood and agreed to rescue Ollie, which he did quickly and safely!
We will definitely be using 'Crowe Tree and Hedge' to look after the many trees on our property from now on.
