We have been facing the age old issue of cold and hot rooms and had an especially bad issue with our Master Bedroom (furthest from the furnace and on top of the garage). We had spray foamed the garage ceiling, added extra insulation in the attic...but nothing worked. Nothing until we had Victor to seal our ducts. It is night and day now. There is barely a difference between our master bedroom and the rest of the house. More importantly, the air flow coming out of the vent is crazy! I can hear air being forced out of the vents...so much flow.

I'd also like to mention that Victor and team was exceptional. He took the time to explain and answer questions during consultation and during the actual sealing. He found a disconnect in my duct due to poor workmanship from my contractor who finished the basement. Spent 2 hours fixing someone else's poor work.

Victor came out to check the vent system, and explained the current situation in the house and what they would accomplish. He was very thorough and pleasant. Yuri and his co-worker completed the task in about hours, and luckily there was no need to cut into drywall. Yuri also was pleasant, and gave a detailed explanation of what was done and explained the data on the report that I was given.
Extremely pleased with the results and working with this company.
Only negative comments are that I found a smoke/CO detector 3 days later that was not reconnected, and that it would be informative to include in the 'prep' email that the windows may be opened to allow particulate matter in the air to dissipate.

I knew about the Aeroseal technology through YouTube videos. My house was getting worst for airflow during the summer & winter. I decided to research who provides this type of service in our area.

I called Areoseal Tech and asked to come out to provide a quote. Victor came out on a Saturday in September and measured the airflow throughout the house. It was not very good. Sealing the vents will be a better option than insualting the roof. I decided to go with Victor because of reviews on HomeStars and his knowledge on the technology.

Victor and his crew came out and started the process of meauring the airflow. Ducts had a 711.3 CFM of leakage which is 134.4 square inch hole. Then he used the Aeroseal duct sealing system which injects adhesive particles into the ducts. After 20 minutes he had too look for larger holes in the ducts and patch the ducts. He found 3 holes, patched the holes and repaired the drywall. After they finished, the sealing, ducts had 16.6 CFM which was 97.7% reduction. Finally, they had to rebalance the airflow to each room. Now the house has better airflow in all rooms. Great technology and thanks for Victor and his crew doing the work. Definitely, I will recommend them.

Victor is a very polite person. He explained things very well and was practical in his approach. We had leaky ducts for many years with poor workmanship. He was very professional, punctual, efficient, clean and courteous. Highly recommended.

Crew was very polite and informative

Crew found out that 1 of the duct coming directly out of the furnace was going to garage dry wall and wasted for several years this caused 20% of leakage and another leakage was 30%

In total my leakage was 50%. OMG that 50% of more in energy bills!!!

Crew sealed everything and now the leak is 0.9% or in other words 0%. That is a big WAO!!

Charges depends on the sq/ft of house

I recommend to stop taping off the vents/stop insulation in the attic/stop putting heater/fans in other rooms due to no air flow and call Victor.

Money well spent. I saw big difference in 24 hours.

My furnace is working less and rooms are more comfortable.

The far bedrooms CFM has improved a lot and those are getting more warmer.

Time will tell how much the seal will last, but what I saw was amazing. The warranty is for 10 years but it will last more. Even if you have to redo after 10 years (if you are in the same house) it is still worth doing it.

In the end it is your health and comfort.

I have always believe in duct sealing but never got down to it. Trust me before you go changing windows and your house suffers from the lack of proper air flow,spend money on duct sealing . Almost 90% of the house built have about 70% of air leakage in them which puts more pressure on your furnace and your ac to keep your cool in the summer and warm in the winter not to mention hydro and gas costs. Viktor and his team were really great came at the time they were supposed to got their equipment to the basement and the whole job took about 3 hours or so. They even fixed to duct connections which were leaking . This Summer has been cool and well worth the cost. I know this winter as well will nice and warm. If your on the fence about just call them to get a quote. At least you would have made and informed decision . Btw I dont work for Aeroseal.

My 1.5 year old daughters room had zero airflow along with weak airflow to other rooms in my home. On top of that we had a newborn on the way. So we really needed to fix our airflow. I called Victor and his team came by and I couldn’t be happier with the result. My house is now freezing cold when we turn in the AC. I now sleep with peace of mind knowing my children are comfortable in the home and no more waking up because it is too hot in the summer. Thank you Victor for doing the impossible!
