Tom from Sunset Blind and Shade did the blinds for our basement in Calgary and we were very happy with both the product and service so we were thrilled to hear that he was also able to help us with custom blinds and drapes for our new home in Victoria, BC. Despite being in another province, Tom made the whole process very easy and stress free. Through his contacts in Victoria , he was able to arrange for someone to come out to our house and do all of our measurements,help us with fabric selections and install. It couldn't have been easier. I had solar roller shades done (one motorized for a difficult to reach window) for half the windows. These blinds offer the perfect medium between view and light filtering - suggested by Tom after listening to my expectations. Layered roller shades were done for the other half, suggested by Tom when I asked for blackout for the summer months but light, view and privacy at other times. My expectations were perfectly matched by blinds and didn't really know existed.

Tom was simply amazing from measurement to installation. Price point was unbeatable! There were no delays in getting the blinds out to us and Tom kept the communication lines open with all updates as to when we would be receiving them. 110% happy with the blinds as well as with Tom's customer service and throroughly pleased with the custom window bench cushion! Because of the rather unique layout of our house we required custom curtains. This required exact measurements and angles and thus required special orders from the different manufacturers. Although it required several manufacturer's updates such as obsolete stock, missing pieces or wrong sizes Tom made sure that everything was to our expectations and more. I can't say enough in praise of Tom for his patience, professionalism and perseverance to make everthing right.

Had a great experience with Sunset Blind & Shade. Tom was great to deal with and not your typical salesman trying to push a product on us. We had big expectations and demands for the blinds that were purchased and installed and Tom did not let us down.
