Elie and his team at Counter Measures were fantastic to work with and did a superb job. They did a complete galley kitchen remodel for my mother, and were patient, helpful, considerate of her time and space. The quality of the work is outstanding, along with their aesthetic sense and their access to beautiful countertops, hardware etc. The bespoke job was finished in a timely manner, and they were flexible with our last minute design changes. I can’t recommrbf them highly enough!

Our original plan was to remove and replace the kitchen in its entirety and install new modern cabinetry, counters, backsplash, flooring, lighting, etc. We wanted a space that would be highly functional and upon further reflection decided to incorporate a full main floor renovation (850 square feet) which included removing 2 walls (1 load bearing) and transform the space into open concept living with the kitchen being the focal point.

Our new kitchen sits within the existing footprint of the original kitchen, however now is unencumbered by surrounding walls. Elie Gemael was there every step of the way from design through to installation. The feedback from friends, family and neighbours has been overwhelming; the kitchen is a huge hit!

We would also like to give a shout out to Reno Pros Home Services, Leo, Nick, Danny and the rest of the team that did the heavy lifting of demolition and renovation of the main floor; on time and on budget.

Elie was very helpful from the beginning. He spent time with us in the initial concept stage, showed us a preview, helped us with picking the right products from the cabinet choices to the counter top etc, and the finished products exceeded all our expectations. We defenitely would recommend him to anyone wanting above and beyond service and quality.

My entire old kitchen was taken out and everything was replaced. Elie, from Counter Measures, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish: professional, courteous, and a true artisan in both the design & installation of my cupboards and countertops. The quality of all the material & hardware used is excellent (sourced from Europe & locally) and the top notch installation with an ongoing eye to detail is impressive. The results are beautiful and I'm thrilled with the finished work. Everyone warned me that having a kitchen renovated is a stressful process, and it is, but having trust in your workers makes it bearable, and Counter Measures did not disappoint.

Being our first kitchen renovation, we were hesitant on making the wrong choices in the design that I would regret. Elie took the time to walk us through the design, and support us in making changes to ensure we were satisfied before sending the design off to the cabinet makers.
